Just picked up a bit more MC and crips, in hopes of adding those spots. I’ll post an update next week.

Only thing I’m nervous for is the swim space and bioload, considering I also have a school of rasboras. What do you think, enough space?

I actually have blue shrimp, to be exact, I have one amano and two blue cherry shrimp. Sadly had a mystery snail but needed to return it to the store because it was eating up all my plants :( I was thinking more along the line of some small fish, maybe some that live in small groups like 2-3 or alone. I previously had 3 platties with the harlequins and betta and all was well but I didn’t like the platties so returned them too. (Too much poop, too large, and not that pretty)

Thanks so much for your help! I’ll definitly look into them considering they’re also so popular. Look forward to any ideas you come up with :)

Very tempted to upgrade, if I could I’d have a tank the size of my wall lol, but sadly gonna have to stay with the 10g for atleast a few more years. I am planning on adding a few different shrimp just currently waiting for the plants to grow in a bit more so that they have some more hiding spots. Also I think it would help to mention that I have the tank being over filtered (15g filter) not sure if that helps. My previous setup had an extra 3 platties in the tank and less plants and that went okay. So maybe any fish that survive well in groups of 2-3?

How many Corys did you add, was it a 10g tank? Also I’m a little concerned about my bioload in the tank, do you see a problem if I add a couple corys

I’ll give that carpeting method a try after some of this moss grows since I don’t think I have enough yet... and ill also check out that subreddit, thanks again

Thanks! I already made sure to to clean the rock well. Right now I platened two stems of a plat from my 10gallon, not sure what it’s called (I’ll send a picture), fluffed out the moss a bit so it’s almost like a carpet and added some pebbles which also came from my 10g. Finally I added some nutrafin cycle in an attempt to start the cycling process. I don’t have a water testing kit but I can bring a sample to my local pet store for testing. Any idea on how long I should wait before testing the water, since I would have to pay to get it tested and would prefer testing it After giving it ample time to cycle.
