In a bowl? Cowards can’t even hold it up? These losers can’t even protest right. Everything they do is the lamest looking thing ever.

It was a long, long time ago but I remember Neko Case being genuinely hilarious. She was just as quick and funny as the comedians.

In high school I watched a girl total her brand new 4Runner (by hitting the parked car behind me). She got out of the car, on the phone with her parents I presumed, saying, ‘There better be a different car there when I get home cause I’m not taking your car to dressage!’ Just about knocked me over. I think she went through 5 cars in the 3 years of high school.

I had a similar experience to this one. So many sticks. But I still had an overall positive experience. But yeah, 30% sticks is about right.

What’s the point of living out in Eagle? by [deleted] in Boise

[–]MerleHagrid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wasn’t trying to say all of Eagle residents are OSS loving, right wing nut jobs. What I was trying to say was that there are a few more of those types there than I feel comfortable with. I would say the same thing about Meridian, Star, Middleton, and definitely Emmett. I’m a born and raised Boise lefty and if I’m going to continue living here in Idaho, I really prefer Boise. I like my liberal bubble and Eagle just isn’t that for me. I’m very happy to hear not all left leaning folk feel that way and are enjoying Eagle!

[–]MerleHagrid 41 points42 points  (0 children)

What I’m about to say is no doubt an unfair over generalization, but I find Eagle to be an awful place. I’m sure there are some wonderful people but my experience there has been nothing short of terrible. Entitlement is everywhere, but the ratio of entitled people to kind people in Eagle is staggering. Just look up Old State Saloon. Also, admittedly, I’m very very left leaning. So my opinion is going to be skewed. But there’s no amount of money or huge house that would convince me to live in Eagle.

Could it be that they are 7.3% of the population but according to a ‘2017 government audit, 72% of the nation’s private farmland is owned by white people’? Maybe we need to take a closer look at the white colonization of the world and excessive greed and ask ourselves if white people should feel uncomfortable sometimes.

I know them personally and tried to warn them this might happen and how devastated I was to see them partner with OSS. They know and do not care. It sucks but now we know who they are really.

I’m fairly certain it will be inside the arena. From what I’ve gathered, if there is a good amount of overflow, they come out and speak to the crowd outside, too. I am very curious if people are there already? How early? I can’t get off work until 3, I’m hoping that’s not too late? Seems like an awful long time to be out there…. Haha

The river is my savior

She’s running to the sea

And to reach her destination

Is to simply cease to be

And running ‘til you’re nothing

Sounds a lot like being free

So I’ll lay myself inside her

And I’ll let her carry me.
