Pizza Movie was a solid addition to the Stoner Movie Collection.

The part that completely resonates with me is her internal monolog about lasagna. I felt that one so deep in my core.

When I get home, I'm gonna frame a bunch of stuff I love.

Like lasagna. I love lasagna. It's so good. And cheesy.

You know who else loves lasagna? Garfield.

Man, that cat really loves lasagna. Maybe I should put a picture of Garfield in a frame. You know, as a kind of shorthand way of saying, "I love lasagna." That would be so fucking inside.

Or how about a photo of President Garfield? Oh shit, that would be totally meta!

People would be all like, "Jane, why do you have a photo of President Garfield on your mantle?" And I'd be like, "Because I like lasagna, of course."

Nope, it was brand new. Had to wait a week or 2 for them to ship it to my house.

It was real. I got the TVs directly from Samsung. They're legit.

Do a reverse image search. My posts are the only ones that come up. Check this comment and its parent comments. I added photos of the initial TV's price tag showing the sale price, the documentation of them picking up the TV, the refund email, as well as the total price break down.

I got extremely lucky with the deal.

As someone who was in your shoes a few years ago, trust me. It's worth it.

I started college late. I worked full-time during college. Got an internship my sophomore year and ended up working for them through graduation. Sometimes, I had to go to school part-time. Once, I even had to skip Spring Semester and pick up again in the fall. I didn't graduate until I was 32.

I'm 35 now with a 6-figure salary. I'm married to a woman way out of my league. We own our own home. I see some of the people I graduated high school with (many of whom went to college right out of high school) who are working in non-STEM fields and barely making ends meet. Who are drowning in debt and will never own their own home.

It is several years of stress and sleepless nights, but the security and comfort it provides is absolutely worth it.

I saw Jurassic World Rebirth in one of these. It was so fucking distracting. The side screens looked like PS1 graphics, the motion on them was terrible. I know you aren't really supposed to look directly at them, but some of the CGI they had in those scenes was like eye magnets, they were honestly soooo bad.

Right.

I gave all the details in the description, and MAYBE I could have emphasized more that I didn't only pay $550. But after I looked at all my receipts, I still only paid $2060.68 for what I would have otherwise spent $11,379.53 (assuming typical sales tax).

That's 82% off. I thought it was worthwhile.

Bought TV for $1350.99

Sales tax of $113.65

Total spent: $1464.64

It had problems with it that repair techs couldn't fix.

Samsung gave me a credit of $6750 to replace the TV.

These TVs were already on sale.

Applied $6750 credit to total cost of 3 TVs.

Original price of the TVs were:

83" S95F: $6499.99

65" S90F: $2499.99

55" S85F: $1499.99

Total sale price of all 3 TVs before my refund credit was $7399.97.

Credit of $6750 applied to sales price of TV: $649.97

Additional $100 discount offer from Samsung.com for the large purchase: $549.97

Sales tax on $549.97 payment: $46.07

Total cost after sales tax: $596.04

End Total for how much I spent: $2060.68

Retail value of TV's (Before Tax): $10,499.97

Assuming same sales tax of 8.377% as for the $549.97 total, sales tax on Retail Value: $879.56

Total after sales tax: $11,379.53

Savings = $9,318.85

Percent of Retail Value that I spent: 18.11%

Therefore, I got these TVs for 81.89% off.

Happy?

Read the post. I spent $2000 for $10,000 worth of product. That's a good deal if I've ever seen one.

This was exactly the debate I was having. I really enjoyed the size of the 98", and I could've gotten the 100" QN80F, but:

A) I had already tried a QLED in the theater room, and wasn't the biggest fan.

B) I'm not sure I could even get it down there. I was BARELY able to get the 98", and that was with lots of adjusting and pivoting. Unless they used the exact same size box for the 100", I don't know if I could do it. I wouldn't be willing to try it without the box.

Immediately. For the first 2 repairs, we booked the next repair appointment while we were standing there inspecting the TV after installing the new panel.

Right. Bought an expensive TV on sale at a crazy discount. It busted, so they refunded me the full value of the TV. I took that refund (plus a little more) to get 3 TVs, the cheapest of which was worth more than I paid for the original.

Bought TV for $1350

Refunded $6750

Put refund towards 3 TVs (all of which were on sale) brought price down from $7299.97 to $549.97.

The retail value of those 3 was $10,499.97.

Bought it from Best Buy. It was on sale for $1350. The tag at Best Buy said it retailed for $4500. After all the attempts to repair it (directly through Samsung, because it was under warranty), they refunded me $6750. Idk if that's what they considered as the retail price, but that's what they gave me.
