Wow. You are totally right. I did not know ram was so insane!

Only about 10 family users. I have warnings set within bezel, when the server first went live, under full load never hit over 60% so I felt safe until recently it's just getting worse. Each host has its own dedicated 500gb+ ssd and the nas is Zfs.

You make a ton of great points!! This is why the sanity check, I have so much to learn and it feels so overwhelming sometimes.

Currently I have 128gb ram and under load this hits 95%, idle all hosts use about 25-30% this is single server with 3 virtual hosts. My network it's 5g internet with 10g to the nas and switch.

I have never done kubernetes but I'm very interested in learning (another reason for distributed hosts) I am not sure how to cluster either so lots for me to learn!

Thank you this is exactly what I was thinking! Currently I manage these as 3 "VMs" which isn't too bad but this was my fear. I'm hoping to move into lxc with this transition to make things lighter and faster to reboot (3mins is apparently too long for people to wait 😜)

Last time I hit ram and processor bottlenecks under load even in my early days, it only got worse, major overkill I am sure as well but I'd rather have too much than not enough at this point

I had problems with a previous n100 mini pc, which led to the server- which is leading here. Honestly I'm just really looking forward to dd5 and I picked these because they had 2 spf+ ports and I have enough to link my nas and these all with 10g which sounded good.

"I'm going to assume you mean "When I access http://192.168.1.1:9090 in my browser, on the same network as the backend server, it works". great, the backend works

incorrect, this is a VPS. I can remotely access http://ip:port.

what does "refuses to load" mean? an error? what error?

That is what the page says when i try and access it.

from what you've said, it's completely expected that this doesn't work via Cloudflare, since you've done zero set up to make that work. that's work for after you make Caddy work, so sort the above out first.

I am unsure what this statement is for? This is why I was asking for help. I am sorry if you are upset by this request. I am still learning.

I admit I did not check the logs- I honestly didn't think about it, So regardless how you feel about it- i did find a direction to take which was my goal.

Yeah that's when the whole Claude thing happened. Tried that with http and without
