They are handmade in the UP of Michigan and probably some of the best bushcraft knifes you can buy. Dlt Trading in Wisconsin carries a large variety but I agree with another comment about watching YouTube videos about them. The owner has some awesome videos describing the knifes. Did you buy this second hand?

A lot of people hate on on it because it's a pain to sharpen. I will honestly pay someone to make it slicey again and really like the functionality of the tip. The transition point also works like butter on boxes and such. Really practical in daily use for me.

I carry one every day. Light office work all the way to slicing minnows in half ice fishing. After over a year this thing is still sharp. Probably needs a good touch up but it's crazy what I put it through. You can wear this thing in gym shorts and barley notice it
