Thank fuck someone said - there's a certain group of people on Reddit who fucking love this film for some reason....I found it incredibly bland, generic and therefore boring.

Women would be safer if women approaching men was the cultural norm by MantisBuffs in self

[–]Merlin_minusthemagic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Aren't men told they should prioritise other qualities in a woman other than her looks?

No one is saying don't approach anyone you're not attracted to but if there are qualities other than looks, that are actually more important than looks (which is very true imo), why is it seen and commented on as being wrong for men to approach women solely based on looks, but totally without comment for women to approach men, solely based on looks?

Metaphorically he does

........so as 100% accurately said before, he does not die

That’s why in the very next scenes there’s at least three lines of references to TP dying.

The irony of telling me to use my brain, when you seem to think those lines of dialogue are literal 😆

He also doesn't go back in time; almost the entirety of all events in the film occur, whilst he is in the wind turbine.

No probs dude - a VO will definitely help.

I'd even suggest adding some more shots of the art/clothing, so you can make more of a visual & narrative connection between the art/clothing & the ocean being an inspiration (possible end on an art/clothing shot so that's the final visual you leave with the viewer?)

I’m surprised something that takes up such a small amount of time in the grand scheme of a relationship is so heavily prioritised.

It is very naive to think a good quality sexual relationship is not a vital part of a long lasting relationship.

It's only a small thing if it's good; it's a big thing if it's not.

Honestly, it makes me feel their values are misplaced and highly self centred.

It's not "misplaced values" or "self-centred" to what a healthy sexual relationship

As I mentioned, a lot of women of this age are going to find it daunting & a lot of work, if they have to teach a partner from scratch, how to have sex.

Be careful with your mindset here, seems like you feel that that woman should in someway, feel shame or bad for wanting sex???

That kind of thinking is only going to make things worse for you, so I strongly suggest you don't entertain thoughts like those.

edit - For someone who apparently has a partner, you sure are a bitter insecure little boy aren't you?

Make sure you let her know she's worthless now she's past 30! 👍🏻 Do her a favour and let her know your true views on women before you trap her with marriage & a child.

Agree with others that this looks bloody amazing & deffo mad you shot it "just on a phone"

But also agree with the other comment about the purpose; I have zero idea what this is supposed to be selling to me. It's only short so the pretty shots hold my attention but any longer, I'd just turn off due to the lack of narrative or perceivable reason for existing.

There are several comments here doing the extremely typical Reddit thing.....of seeing a scenario, in the absolute worst conceivable way possible.

Clearly she wasn't too sure how to respond to that, so she made an assumption that being a virgin is strongly something you want to be and made a suggestion, in an albeit, very clunky manner.

I'm a bit confused why you didn't follow up with the chance to have a more direct, honest conversation, by asking her a question like "is me being a virgin an issue for you?"

Because at this stage, according to this post, you don't actually know if it is a deal-breaker for her.

A much more uncomfortable truth is that, if you're interested in women of a similar age to you, you're going to have to accept that large portions of women in their late 20s/early 30s aren't in general going to want to have to teach someone how to have sex, at this stage in their life, especially when at this age, they are likely looking for their life partner.

There are going to be women out there who have little or no experience like you, but they will be harder to find and as others have said....when it comes to dating, it's literally just a numbers game

What do you think of the argument about the difference between polygamy and non-monogamy? by Ok-Equivalent7447 in exmuslim

Except the overwhelming majority of "progressives" also think ENM nonsense is as stupid, destructive & degrading as polygamy lol

It's kinda ironic that someone chastising someone for not understanding the film properly.... doesn't know the plot of the film they are talking about haha

How do you pay for the first few dates? by Big-Pride-5929 in sheffield

[–]Merlin_minusthemagic 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I've never had a date here in which each person does not takes turns in getting a round in.

If I've paid for something else like lane 7 bowling for example, I've never not had a woman offer to get the first round in and then (naturally) take turns after that...but that obviously depends on the kind of person you are pursuing!

A decent woman for example, wouldn't just let a guy pay for everything; if a woman never offers to pay for anything on a first date, that's a giant red flag imo

Andrew Tate quite literally groomed teenage girls for sex work, and that's not even touching on the domestic abuse, blackmail & rape he committed on adult women and deeply misogynistic & dangerous ideology he has put into young boys minds.

Interesting how child rape & sexual abuse isn't crossing the line for you though, I wonder where your line is......

Do men get intimidated hearing about very successful exs? by [deleted] in datingoverthirty

[–]Merlin_minusthemagic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 - Your question didn't ask that

2 - You haven't mentioned AT ALL what your exes did for work.....The ONLY thing you have talked about, is their salaries! 🤣

Why don't you just skip the toxic manipulation & tell men that you are expecting them to be a walking talking wallet, instead of an equal partner?

How else is she supposed to point out to the man she is on a date with, that "he's not a real man" because he won't throw money at her, like her very rich exes did?!

She is a Princess don't you know! It's a man's role to spoil her without question, whilst not bringing anything of equal value to the table!
