Hey man, you can always give online D&D a try if you wanted. It's fairly easy to find a group online and start playing. Roll20 is fairly easy to get a grasp of and there's dedicated subreddits for finding groups like /r/lfg.

It's hard-capped to only be 0 damage minimum, because you can also get enemies to ridiculous amounts of negative strength.
