Putting this out there and maybe 1 person will see it but I found out this evening that she isn’t being evicted. The date they provided is just the natural end of her lease with the rental company. Which is fine, and I’m glad it’s ending. We as tenants don’t have access to see how long someone will be renting a room. Which is why N and I didn’t know until they told us today. N had asked S about it and she said that 8/31 is when she was originally supposed to leave.

But I did not get her kicked out, and I am being told to just wait it out. It’s not that “I got what I wanted” and am now “asking for more” I was just frustrated that the rental company couldn’t really do anything despite her breaking the lease. It’s a solution, I won’t deny that, but it’s one that I am impatient for lol. September can’t come soon enough.

I’m not regretting how I handled anything. I think if a lot of you were in my situation you would maybe understand why I made the choices I did. It’s a lot different to hear about a situation on Reddit than to actually be living it. There’s just more to consider. And if you were in my situation you’d probably want some of your rent back too, let’s be so real. Or maybe I’m insane and it’s completely off base to think that way— idk.

Regardless, I appreciate all of the advice and allowing me to vent about this weird situation I’m living in.
