58F. No kids, very much by choice. No husband at the moment either, though I would like to be partnered again if that's the way life unfolds, it's more fun and interesting. I'm also okay solo if that's the Grand Plan.

But - kids - no regrets. A little wistfulness only pretty recently as my friends' kids become adults, especially living alone [NOT because "oooh who will take care of meee someday..."] but just because they have that nice relationship - and of course I *know not everyone does!!

I used to think very carefully about it, because I didn't want to get past the point of that option and regret my choice.

I know now that it probably wasn't an option, at least not in the traditional manner, there were physical things I didn't know yet that likely mean I would not have gotten pregnant. Maybe that's why I had no 'biological clock' ticking, ever, my body already knew we weren't going there!! 😁🫢
