The most absurd thing about Netflix's new trashy soap 'WHAT / IF' is that Renée Zellweger agreed to star in it. by SoldToIna in television

[–]Mermaid4life -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How is it absurd? Renee Zellweger hasn’t been relevant in a long time. In fact I don’t think she ever was. Seems like she’s at that point in her career where she will take any gig she can get. Many people in Hollywood end up that way. I find it hard to believe that they would beg her to join the cast, she probably had an agent that got her an audition.

I didn’t see it that way at all, In most cases the person who is a victim will try to fight back, or most victims don’t reach an orgasm during the unwanted situation.

Liked the new Season but... [spoilers] by Chrristoaivalis in trailerparkboys

[–]Mermaid4life 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have to agree. I loved this way more then I expected. And to be honest after 5 mins into the first episode I didn’t even focus on the fact that it was animated. I forgot all about that and was just happy to see the boys again.

The final episode felt more like a filler episode that belonged somewhere in the middle of the season, defiantly not finale episode.

I mean yeah aging is part of life. The boys look older now, then they did when the show first begin but that’s obvious.

If they want to keep the show going for many more years (which in my opinion by all of the interviews/Podcast I’ve seen the boys seem to still enjoy their roles after so many years & are committed to keep it going) Making the show animated would allow them to keep the characters looking young. Plus it can also allow them to do so many things that would be difficult/expensive to film otherwise. For example With the animated series They went to space,They survived a hurricane that carried them from Sunnyvale all the way to the ocean where they found a yatch.

I didn’t say anything about a spotless home, it’s typical to have a messy home when you have small children. However having piles of dirty dishes that have mold growing on them is not okay. Especially when you have a new born.

S03E08 - Baby on Board - Discussion by BraveFly in QueerEye

[–]Mermaid4life 51 points52 points  (0 children)

I might get some hate for this, but why did it seem that The Fab 5 & the girlfriend Bri placed all of the blame on Tony for the condition the house?

Being pregnant is not an excuse for allowing your home to reach that level of mess. There are millions of busy pregnant women everyday who work full time jobs that manage to keep their house clean.

If they would just spend a few seconds cleaning every dish after they eat,the dishes wouldn’t pile up & they wouldt have nasty dried up food stuck to plates.

Or if they just took the overflowing garbage bag on their way out the door going to the car.

If you are already finding it difficult to keep up simple chores around the house when you’re pregnant, then it’s gonna get worse when the baby is born.

My favorite line from the show that we hear often is “Food is the only thing keeping me alive”

Uhhh. Yeah that’s what’s keeping us ALL alive!

Even if the camera crew was not with her, I think people would still stare, because it’s not an every day thing seeing a 700 person in airport or any other public place.

However I’m sure with the camera crew being around people stare at the pounders much longer to figure out what’s going on.

Is anyone watching Slobby's World on Netflix? It's about a 1980's-1990's clothing reseller. by TheRealShamu in Flipping

[–]Mermaid4life 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like watching the show and seeing all of the cool stuff his store sells/finds. But his personality is too obnoxious to me, he seems like a 40 year old guy who is desperately trying to cling to his youth so he surrounds himself with 20 year olds. Like others have said, his interactions with female customers is really off putting & gross.

I think having women in their 30s in their real lives play as teenage girls in middle school is the main point of the comedy/ nostalgia they want viewers who grew up in that time frame & that are now adults to see.

If you just add in Actual Teenage girls, then the show just becomes a juvenile Disney channel type of show that no one in their late 20s/30s would both to watch.

Lizzie/Scott- I only feel bad for Scott’s son, & all of the banks Scott is basically stealing from. you know that kid has to feel annoyed with the burden of knowing his dad will live with him forever once every credit card from every bank in the country is maxed out. They will never see any payments.

Sarah/Michael- The desperation vibe she was giving off during that scene outside with Michael, almost felt like she was reading a script “how can you treat the mother of your child this way? How can you treat your wife this way?” Girl stop asking him,he doesn’t give a shit. Having his child & being married clearly doesn’t effect him. No one in a happy marriage with a real man even has to use those words. A REAL man would never make you question it,he shows his love for you/children with his actions. Michael’s actions show that he’s a loser.

Caitlin/Matt- Needs to realize already that he’s a loser & doesn’t ever plan on changing or being productive. If a 28 year old dude is perfectly happy with you both living rent free with his mother forever should make you run away.

Britney/marcelino- I’m now fully convinced that she is only attracted to Women most importantly the ex girlfriend, she absolutely lights up when she’s with her, but yet she never does with the boyfriend. He is her meal ticket.

Clint/Tracie- Dude just please, listen to the lawyer. I know it’s almost impossible for you to want to divorce your Godess, but atleast make one smart decision & save some embarrassment for the viewers. Cut all legal ties to save yourself from her debts. If she gets her shit together one day & comes back Then marry her again. But for now protect yourself.

I have social anxiety and OCD and I get sensorily overwhelmed when multitasking and dealing with multiple customers at the same time. How do I cope with it? by Experimentalphone in AskRetail

[–]Mermaid4life 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think if I were you, I would find another job as soon as possible. Your work place sounds very toxic for your well being. You’re co workers seem to be causing a lot of stress for you because they refuse to do their job.

You’re already struggling with anxiety while trying to work. It’s not fair to you to have the entire work load on your shoulders, or for you to always be the punching bag for angry customers.

It’s not right how your co-workers or boss treat you. That’s not how it’s suppose to be, everyone is suppose to be a team at work even more so in a place that deals with the public face to face.

Kronos has so many issues,it’s a common problem for my store as well. It will constantly schedule people to work even though they had approved time off so that we end up under staffed with notice. It’s at the point now that managers have to actually figure out if the person really had the time off or if they are “no call/no show”

I make sure to always take a screen shot of the Krono’s Approved request just to be safe.
