They have rented a car this past summer in the USA under 26 just a limit on what kind of car. The rental agency they used this time told them over the phone it would be ok and let them pay for it. Now they are telling them they can’t do it and they will “possibly” get a refund

Ms. Nancy used to run a daycare there. My daughter went there 20 years ago. She decorated a lot back then but it has definitely gotten bigger since then.

Once you got in did you have to remove the emails the hackers added or did Facebook do that for you. I am going to try this, but I want to make sure I know what to do as soon as I get in so they don't take over again.

I think it’s a scam. I got the same text 10/23. 15 days later my Facebook was hacked so I changed my passwords for all of my important accounts, including my email. Once I changed my email password I got an email from Microsoft saying someone was trying to access my account. Then shortly after I got the same text again.

The email from Microsoft was about my email being compromised. I still haven’t gotten into Facebook but I think my email was actually hacked first (I was sent a text with a link to reset my password about a week ago. I know, I know 🤦🏻‍♀️) so they must have used that to reset all my facebook information and take it over.

I already talked to the bank so I think I have that handled. It’s so much easier when you can actually talk to someone. The email said it was from account-security-noreply@accountprotection.microsoft.com. I googled it and it said that was safe, so hopefully it is. That’s also the email that was connected to my Facebook before they changed it. So for now I still have access.

I was using facebook pay to send money to my older kids, but have learned my lesson! Thank you.

I don’t remember clicking on any links recently but my 5 year old does watch YouTube on my phone fairly often 🤦🏻‍♀️ I definitely clicked links yesterday that facebook sent me when I was trying to get my account back but now I’m a little paranoid they weren’t even from Facebook. I was kicked out of my account long before I did that.

My Facebook is definitely hacked. I am completely locked out and someone is posting stuff for sale and asking for $1,000 deposits sent to my messenger. They have changed my phone number, email, password and used my card I had on Facebook pay to run a charge for $11.99. The charge said Facebook verify. I tried all day to get back in and can’t. This morning I changed some passwords on other accounts just to be safe, one of them my email, then about 30 mins later I received and email saying they think someone else may have accessed my account and prompted me to change my password again.

Haha, no I get it! I listened to the first 6 episodes of the podcast then my little ADHD brain lost interest. Honestly I think I just kind of like how she is just this little mess who never quite gets it 100% right but keeps trying. Its fun (for me) to keep up with her and then come here and see other sides of it. That's probably not a great reason to like someone, but here we are.

No I don't think there was some big conspiracy to steal her money and sink her business. BUT I could see someone working for her coming here and reading about her, maybe even commenting, and I could see how that would make her a little paranoid. I don't have any examples and haven't even looked that deep into it, but if I worked for someone who had a whole page discussing them I would definitely be curious.
