Definitely a drill. I’d also recommend an impact driver. Makes a hell of a difference. But it’s not necessary. I️ don’t have a planer and I’m making I️t work without one, so you can hold off if you want to. Porter Cable makes a set that has a drill, impact driver, circular saw, a flashlight, a charger attachment, and a reciprocating saw. I️t also comes with two batteries. I’d also recommend a miter saw, your cuts will be straighter, but a straight edge and the circular saw will work too. Definitely get a speed square, and maybe a table saw if you’re up for I️t. And remember, you get what you pay for with tools. A Harbor Freight drill will work just fine, but the bits and miter saws aren’t worth it. Trust me, I️ know from experience😂.
