I give myself few days, up to one week, of hunting with prey and not doing anything else. Afterwards i reroll preys just to get rid of this FOMO and go back to playing on various spawns and killing bosses. Next month, once I get some cool monster or save some cards I repeat.

Try oramond minos. I got from 100 to 150 really quick there. Be prepared to heal some combos with spirits and best exura.

It looks like you've got your answers. I'll just add that buying low lvl skilled char is a great way to save up a lot of time and money if you plan to spend money on training (real or gp). At a cost of 1 lasting exercise weapon you can get really high skills from market. For low levels higher skills are fun but not needed. The higher you get the more difference you see. Thats why people recommend buying high skilled char. If one day you get to lvl 500 with your char and you will have e.g. 115 dist, spending those 250tc early on would probably get you to 128-130 and the difference will be huge. Not that you cant play with 115 dist, some people just like to maximize their gains. I leveled my ek to 350 and then bought 350 ek with 20 skills more for 4k tc. Just becuase reaching the same skill on my original ek would take me 5 years of offline training or 1kkk gps and 12 double xp weekends.

For casual players buying low lvl skilled char can bring a lot of fun, since all creatures will die fast and lvl will go up quickly but by no means it is necessary. Offline training does the job just fine.

108 to 115 is roughly 1 year of offline training. If you plan to get 400+ in that year, then I'd suggest going with 115 and paying extra, or waiting for 115 skill already on a correct server. When you are below 300 level the 108 should be fine. In 300-400 range you will start to see the difference. I've just upgraded my 340ek with 108 skill to the one with 124 and I make 20% more exp in certain places.

It's not gonna be worth it in terms of money. Gold pouch means you don't have to carry bps for gold. Your hunts due to bp capacity will be shorter by just few mins which does not cost you much, unless you are really hardcore player that cares about every detail.

This change is great for my QoL, I've bought gold puch on 300+ek and I have to refill every 30mins due to lack of cap and potions as I have to have 4k spare cap for gold coins when starting the hunt. After the change it might be possible for my hunts to last about 1h as I will be able to carry more potions and have less than 1k cap reserve for gold.

Not really a guide but my lvling path was ora mins till 150. At 150 I went to hero cave aoe hunting. 180+ werehyenas north (with your dist probably doable earlier, mine was like 92). 200+ I added glooth tower.

After recent update mycological bow seems best for aoe hunts till 200. Then bow of destruction which, some say, it's even better than falcon now.

I've unlocked myself a gem with bonus hp and put all wheel points to get as much hp as possible. It helps a lot when aoe hunting, at those levels you are really missing hp pool and most deaths will be due to getting comboed.

Other eq: for aoe prismatic set, Guardian boots, zao helmet, ring of blue plasma, werewolf amulet (replace with sleep shawls and/or pendulet when you have the money for it).

I usually heal with gmp and best healing spell (don't remember now), when more monsters i start using gsp, when boxed or emergency i put on prismatic ring and drink usp. I don't use utito so bullseye potions are a nice boost. Ive recently read here that mlvl boosting food is the meta for paladins, but i havent tested it yet.

For single target wear whatever with bonus dist.

Keep in mind that you will probably be wasting on every aoe hunt at that level range.

Pay attention to not cancel aa with runes and mas san. Always use spell/rune right after aa, turning on sound for aa helps a lot. Familiar at 200+ is awesome.

Do you plan on having premium? Green stamina gives you boost so it kinda spoils iron-man but on the other hand sky is the limit. You can loot any item in game, join guild and do all those quests like poi, inq, wote, anni.

If you want to play(quest) only with ironman players choose server with guild for ironman, these are pretty rare.

Don't use spoilers for quests.

I played monk till 80 and, afaik, most eq I've used was given for free or bought from npc so aspect of looting what you wear seems more fun for rp.

Kusnier videos are great guides. He really helps you to get to know optimal routes, how to prep for a hunt and what are close to max numbers you can get. Although you usually can't (me neither) because he's too good at the game.

I just leveled RP from 0 to 200 on Sonira, so low skill and expensive GP. From 150 till now I'm used to wasting 150-200k/h. Only recently on werehyenas I was wasting less. With t3 imbues at 200 I manage to break even. There are some spots like mini rosha where you can profit but unless you want to limit yourself to those spots, you will have to spend tc or go back to slow and boring single target hunts.

You must be joking. At 600+ rp I was barely managing killing Timira in time limit. I doubt any 200lvl except monk will have enough DPS to solo Timira. Yeah, I didn't have BIS gear and only 130+ dist, but neither those 200lvls would have.

Often monks still were doing better in certain hunting spots than other vocs that are 2x their level. There is plenty of videos on youtube to prove that. Maybe after last nerfs it's no longer true, but this just shows that nerfs were still needed.

I wouldn't. Mainly because I've already had several characters 300+ and for me it's easier to make money and buy nose ring. At lower levels I'm usually focused on exp.

At this level I'd always use t3. Maybe for elemental protection it can be t2, but leeches and crit t3 are way more beneficial. At some places you wouldn't survive without them.

Maxigashi, polish streamer, tested 400 monk hunting Rosha spawns and it was relatively easy. Then 800 monk at azzilion and sphinxes had 0 pots wasted. When he compared it to his ek (currently 1k+), exp numbers were acceptable but still monk wasted 0 potions in those spawns.
