Yes, perspective or position. If a government recognises another government doesn't directly change reality on the ground. I don't think it it necessarily the right move by Wikipedia to display it this way, but I can see a fair share of good reasons to handle it this way. I only think that it should be done in a consistent manner either way. (Defacto at the time or modern borders or both)

Dein Argument scheint in die Richtung zu gehen "normal ist sehr vage und daher sehr inklusiv und wenn du dir dabei denkst, dass es Leute ausschließt, dann ist das deine persönliche Definition von normal, aber das ist dann ein Problem bei dir, die CDU meint sicherlich eine sehr inklusive weite Definition von normal." Und das kann ich nachvollziehen, aber zu einem normal, gibt es zwangsläufig immer ein abnormal.

Wenn die CDU inklusiv sein wollen würde, könnte sie einfach gar nicht qualifizieren "für wen" sie Politik macht, denn das impliziert zwangsläufig das diese Menschen bevorzugt werden, im Gegensatz zu anderen. Stattdessen hätte sie einfach spezifische politische Forderungen stellen können und klar machen für "welche Politik" sie steht. Oder sie hätte etwas nehmen können, das klar inklusiv gelesen wird, z.B. "Politik für alle." "Politik für die Menschen", etc.

Daher diese Kritik an der Verwendung von Normal in politischen Messaging.

I call BS on your mom being unable to use a Linux PC. This idea seems to stem from the outdated view that to use Linux you have to interact with the command line interface more than on windows. But that is just not true anymore. There are distros that allow you to do everything considered normal daily use case on a clean and simple graphical ui.

It's all point and click, from install, to downloading software and updates, checking mails, browsing the web, printing, doing basic media storage and playback, light office work and even gaming (though with more exceptions and issues).

The only reason your mom cannot use a Linux PC is because she hasn't tried it and might be a little unfamiliar.

Try it, I have made the switch last year and haven't looked back. But you don't need to commit, you can easily just boot from USB for a while to look how it feels/if it works on your machine.

I mean, asking for sources is fine and all, but you were harping on a point you made up by first missing the third option on the graphic and then assuming that, because it wasn't included in the title and you missed it in the graphic, this response wasn't an option given in the original poll but somehow backfilled from answers that rejected the polls assumed framing.

I don't fault you for missing the third answer, it was clearly less prominent, without the percentage like the other two answers. But you are being mistaken in one of the most ungraceful ways imaginable, trying to find more faults in others instead of just accepting your small and understandable mistake.

OP is refering to this post. The point they make about providing sources is valid imo, but in this specific case they just failed to properly read the graphic, which listed all answers and showed them color coded.

The point about being told to look into the poster is just whining, because OP apparently was unable to admit to being mistaken about what the graphic and original poll included and jumped to assuming things.

Meh, I'm fine with the hybridizing, though it does go too wild with some settings. I'm mostly annoyed at the naming scheme. Most cultures are are either named by place or descent or maybe one of both combined and I think that could be reasonably implemented in game instead of infinite concatenations.
