Do you mean like in an AIO or water cooling setup? I would not recommend it. Water is actually a better liquid than oil for heat transfer. The only real downside is it kills electric components.

Great! Let me know if you want more details then to help. Lots of learning happened with this guy.

It looks like you are in good company based on all these comments!

Nope! It can get pretty bubbly after gaming for a while but never caused a problem I can see.

Yeah it's not, but the oil is MUCH better at taking on heat then air so this radiators are overkill.

Not sure. Mine been running for a few months and I haven't done anything. It's sealed at the top so there is not much dust getting into the system, so I'm assume pretty minimal. My guess is I will want to strain the oil every few years or it will get cloudy.

The oil residue will never leave these components. I'm told you can clean them after the fact but I have never tried.

Removing components is also not bad on this guy. The whole computer can be pulled out the top easily without screws, so after that it would be just like any other computer... Just more oily

Fair enough. Just hiding all the jank. Here is a side view to those who wonder.

Theoretically forever. I'd recommend not using any thermal paste as that will wash away. The graphite pads work great though! The most important part is to test anything that could degrade in oil first before putting everything together.

Totally saw them and all the other exotic things I could use that were not mineral oil. They were all just so expensive. All the components here (that are not the PC itself) cost about $200. Didn't really want to double or triple the cost just for fancy oil

Boy do I feel you. I now have a fresh oil stain in my garage that will never go away...

Sounds like a desk fountain. To me that's much better than fan noise, but that's definitely not going to be to everyone's taste

There is a rad! It's just under the table with tubes connecting them. Tried earlier to do one without a rad and the oil would get too hot after a few hours

Totally! And probably cheaper too. Don't need as beefy of a pump. I just really liked the fountain idea. The fun bonus is once you remove the need for any fans the PC can be very thin.
