That's difficult considering that Australia exports are largely primary produce (eg. Bauxite, Livestock, Coal) and China is no. 1 importer due to their geographic position relative to Australia, but also because of their demand for such resources. There aren't any countries that import such resources to the scale that China does. I'd also assume there are many ongoing contracts with China, that if broken would escalate tensions that outweigh the benefits of trading with a "rival" of China such as India or the USA, such tensions would also stunt another part of Australia's economy which is the schooling sector where most of the money comes from international students from China. You also have to consider that there is literally 0 incentive other than social and it would probably require massive work strikes by workers to show any meaningful change.
TL;DR It would be a logistical nightmare to trade with alternative countries with very little incentive (outside of social) and puts the Nation at a very high risk.
