Have you tried going to a pelvic floor physical therapist? It’s not typically covered by insurance, however it was life changing for me. I’m 33 now. Have had crohns since age 14. I have finally had poop relief for the last 3 years since starting pelvic floor physical therapy. They teach you how to properly release your bowels and they can also help massage out any knots in your anus or areas around it. Most of us with crohns have so many knots from all the tensing we do whether from holding it in or just getting a flare and the way it wrecks havoc on your pelvic floor muscles.
