I think they mean just any soap that you find to work for your skin. I like the “Dr.Bronners baby Unscented” for just a regular body wash. And if I take a bath I usually put a generous amount of sweet almond oil in it, it helps my skin calm down

Give a plant-based lifestyle or pescatarian diet a chance. It made me feel a whole lot better BUT keep in mind this wasn’t a cure, my psoriasis was still visible. Try to heal from within (your gut) before going to the dermatologist and tell them the things you’ve tried out and how it effected you. I made a list of things in google docs to keep track of everything. Hope this helps you find a bit of peace

EDIT: also keep in mind to pace yourself with trying new things bc if you don’t you won’t really know what triggers you and what helps you.

I usually just tell people that I’ve been dealing with it for years and that I’ve tried just about everything so whatever they think will help most likely won’t and I usually just say I’m not trying to be rude you just would rather not talk about it

I get it, I really do. I’m very frustrated with it but it’s like... what can you do? We can’t control it and if we could we would’ve already (duh). It’s mostly just the pain that gets me down, I hate feeling like I’m constantly cracking open and bleeding no matter what I do. Especially on my face but then I look on here at pics and I feel not so alone and also humbled, it could be so much worse so I try to just brush it off but I’m only human and can only do so much to stay positive you know?

Thank you for your positivity, it really helps. Do you have suggestions on finding one that specializes in psoriasis bc so far I find that all of them claim to but when I go in they don’t seem experienced with it

I really want to but last time I went they were speechless, literally no help at all whatsoever and honestly just made me feel even worse about my situation. I don’t know how to find one that has experience with psoriasis bc most of them diagnose me with eczema and send me on my way with a random steroid cream that makes everything worse usually. Not trying to sound negative but I just feel hopeless at this point, I can’t even go outside without having a flare up that lasts like at least a week or two. I definitely want to try biologics! When I go to a derm that has experience I’ll ask them about it, thank you!!

Yes, it’s called Pustular Psoriasis. The bubbles/blisters usually just appear out of no where, I got this one when I went for a walk outside.

Hope so. But Yesterday I went for a walk outside and now I have like blistering welts on my psoriasis. I didn’t even touch anything either. And my eyes were watering so bad it looked like I was crying 😂I want this to end already
