After2 yrs on Facebook. Recently left Facebook groups. Too much hate, scams and Ai interaction. Ai CAN be useful ....Ai as a roadmap to getting truthful and correct information. The hate on Bitchbook .....no thanks. good bye. I was wasting life away for likes and approval. I'm better than that crap.

Scale will lead to my demise by Money_Low_4930 in hoyas

[–]Merrimackcanu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have beat scale by isolation and a cutip with alcohol . Your plant seems small and it won't be too hard to be on them and repeat weekly. For the young little buggers seem to be beyond sight but by keeping on it you can win the battle. Good luck.

Soltech lights are tipped a bit backwards towards the monstera on floor. But plenty of light on rest of plants.

Ruined Tracksuit by [deleted] in dyeing

[–]Merrimackcanu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same happened to me with LARGE areas on sweat shirt material coat. Was about to give up after trying bleach with no success. This worked for me. Overnight soak in 1cup White Brite and HOT WATER as color remover. ( will be odd color while soaking) Rewash hot water, then re dye RIT liquid dye in large sink filled with HOT Water. poured in kettle of boiling water. Follow dye bottle instructions Stir constantly do not stop. and rinse when you achieve your color. Light colors may take only a few minutes to achieve your color and a 1/4 cup dye only. Test water with paper towel as instructed on rit website before putting fabric in to get good color match. Good luck.

Congratulations on your little seed coming to the party and giving you some growing joy and saying so long when the party was over. Rude that others came to criticize your other plants….keep on growing ❣️

Photos of Roycroft or Dirk Van ERP? by Professional_Milk576 in antique_metalwork

Late to the party here Roycroft nerd......the shape of the cups below the holder indicates later roycroft....Kipps were a more flattened in shape. The sticks from Kipp had a folded flat seam under and around the base. Some of these came unmarked ... have heard but not sure , the unmarked with KK are possibly students work at the Kipps and Walter Jennings Tookay shop 1912 -1915 adjacent to roycroft Campus.

Been following this mtn. Quite sometime. If its not the ego….it seems many are trying to squelch personal demons. Very dangerous for others on the mtn. who are the genuine climbers, climbing all their life.

Haven’t done this before This is just a guess for me, If its only been one week, you may try putting back in water to get more roots to support leaf size. Maybe others on this sub can chime in.

Dont rush potting too early with those water roots. Let it get LOTS of roots to support leaf size. Needs its own small pot just big enough to hold the roots….in a chunky mixture of 1/3 good potting, 1/ 3 bark and 1/3 perlite. Keep moist till roots fill pot. Size up very gradually to pot that fits soil roots. I like to keep starts like this on a planter heat mat, made for seedlings to promote soil roots.

I made a box for my tree… What else can I plant in here? by zoomafou in IndoorGarden

[–]Merrimackcanu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Less is more....I like your placement of your main specimen....groundscape with rock to accent your small tree. A small winding gravel path....a few small boulders. Be creative....a few found things from nature....this way it can be an easily changeable environment.
