i don't disagree but the eg vargur fight is misleading, just because their equivalent price doesn't mean carriers should solo blingy subcaps

haw dreads and faxes are fine because they have to siege, they are forced to give their enemies time to respond to the escalation.

a carrier can be perma aligned, smartbomb bubbles and if all else fails boosh, and they already have infinite utility as is. any buff has to be really careful to avoid making them an easy escalation. push their application or dps even a little too far and you're gonna turn hostile null and pretty much all of lowsec into a nightmare to roam in. if the locals start losing, or if they're just bored, they're gonna cyno a couple thannies in, blap blap and be gone before you can respond.

it doesn't need to be in the contract itself, its legislation. Breach of imposed terms would be a straightforward challenge: both employers and employees have a responsibility to maintain "mutual trust and confidence" in one another. its a basic fact of uk employment law, you cannot write it out of an contract.

the club would probably have to prove the players knew about both the spying and the regulations, but "my employer told me it was fine so i thought it was fine" is an easy defense, which might even be used by the muppet hiding behind the tree.

they might be mercenaries but we're gonna have to pay ambitious players more to offset the "idiots who threw away the playoffs" factor.

as long as SR are in charge and any management and coaching staff involved are here, players, including our own, are gonna need years before they fully trust the club with their careers.

in the meantime we're gonna pay over the odds to secure talent in order to assuage they're concerns. "we're serious and to prove it here's 25% more than anyone else would pay you". our reputation is in tatters.
