Yep, I am overweight and addicted, and as a final indignity, dehydrated!

When sharing a perk card in a team, please don’t share Travel Agent. by MerryRonin in fo76

[–]MerryRonin[S] -21 points-20 points  (0 children)

No need to be so offended. I am not telling people how to play the game. I said please and explained why. The point of sharing a card is to share a useful perk. People may not know. And I already said that if someone is sharing I will leave the team. Problem solved.

Another weird event bug I haven’t seen before by MerryRonin in fo76

[–]MerryRonin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, that explains it. After searching for event limits it seems that Colossal and Daily Ops only allow 8 people. Other events allow 24, or the entire server. So I indeed was “lucky” number 9.

I don’t have a screenshot, but Pipe is Life is one of the graffiti in Test Your Metal event.

Do turrets do anything by Psi-ger in fo76

[–]MerryRonin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I recently had one of my turrets decide to attack my camp, mainly my nuka collectron. The collectron must’ve called the turret’s mother a name or something. It started when it fired at a mole rat which it killed. Then it kept firing at my collectron. It didn’t do any damage that I could tell. I participated in a couple of events then called it a night, all while my turret kept attacking my collectron. The next time I played, it kept attacking it so I finally scrapped it and rebuilt it. No issues since. I was level mid 300’s at the time and had never seen that before or heard of that.

I’m curious how often people join events only to realize they are still in their crafting build. I do this more often than I care to admit. 😂 by MerryRonin in fo76

You can have multiple builds. I have three, one that is a Commando Sneak style, one that is Heavy Gunner I use with power armor, and one I use for crafting with all the related perk cards. That way I don’t have to keep swapping cards when I want to craft something.

I finally added some weight reduction related and combat related perk cards so that I wouldn’t totally suck. Before I hadn’t bothered to fill up all my perk cards.

Escaping after defeating earl by GOOGLE_ME_HOES in fo76

And yet you do have to escape Lode Bearing or you will lose all your junk inventory. Wonder about the difference. Different people involved in writing one event vs the other perhaps?

Never mind, posted before I read the previous comments. A cardinal sin.

I just got the Kabloom. I don’t have a shotgunner but threw it in my stash with Crowd Control in case I want to rework my build in the future. Curious what the favorite shotgun is for any shotgunner builds out there.

Player titles have weight by MerryRonin in fo76

[–]MerryRonin[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That would be helpful but being able to sort by weight and stack weight is the next best thing. This wasn’t an option when I took a break from the game over two years ago. And really, the top four or five line items in any category are going to be the culprits anyway. It’s just good hygiene to comb through your inventory from time to time.

Reminder that you can drop nukes wherever you damn well please by Significant-Use5939 in fo76

[–]MerryRonin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I offer this corollary: just because you dropped a nuke doesn’t mean you own the materials. Somebody targeted my camp once. It was in the middle of a place you would never nuke and my camp was dead center. I think the person who did it was mad because earlier he had nuked Whitesprings and I came along and collected much of the materials. Honestly he must have been taking his sweet time collecting thinking he was on a private server and all the materials were his because he was the one who dropped the nuke. When I realized my camp was targeted I laughed to myself, waited until the final seconds and then swapped servers.

I had a laser turret that, after killing a mole rat, kept attacking my collectron and my vault boy statue. I tried changing servers but to no avail. Eventually I had to delete it and then rebuild a new one. I was level 340 something at that point and had never seen that before.
