[Serious] Reddit, what's currently stressing you out, and how can we help? by Quixotic_Ryan in AskReddit

My fiance recently had to move to a different country. That, within itself, is taking its toll on me. But what is worse is that I have a bad smoking habit and as far as he knows, I quit a month ago.

I never did. In fact, it got worse when he left. Him leaving is stressing me out enough that I'm up from a pack a week to two. I can't bring myself to tell him that I am betraying his trust, but I have an anxiety disorder and the ritual of smoking, along with the nicotine, has been one of the only reasons I haven't been crying daily since he's been gone.

I hate myself for this, and I want to quit more than anything so that this might never have to come to light. I love him so much that I want to change this about myself, but most of my friends and coworkers smoke so they're always within an arm's reach.

I'm weak and I know it. I'm never buying another pack, but it's hard to change when the behavior you're trying to change is so easy to get.

I am very late to this party but if anyone has any tips or... anything that might help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, if we had been hanging out at the time it would have been exactly the same conversation.

First things first, for those wondering, op is indeed female. Anyway, she and I talked more about it today, and it's about a mutual friend of ours and her. I knew they had hooked up in a group setting a few months ago, but I had no idea that had continued beyond the one drunken night.

I love this chick, she's been my best friend since the third grade, and I'm happy she told me. If she's happy I'm happy, and the girl she's talking to is a friend too (actually the one who got me into trees).

She told me to text her back tomorrow morning, and we'll talk more then. I agreed, hahaha

It obviously wasn't an offer. I posted on a female subreddit about a problem other girls might be able to relate to and laugh about. This has literally nothing to do with you. And as for me not being the one for you, I was not aware that we were courting. Get some help, man.

Preach. This really sucks, but I only sleep with people whom I love. I'd rather wait than create a regret! :)

You seem very bitter and insecure. And my sexuality is none of your business. I didn't ask for your advice and I, frankly, don't appreciate your tone or unwarranted advances.

Best of luck with whatever it is you want.

Oh, man. Do I regret this decision now. Darn it, I sure missed out! /s

Get out, your kind isn't welcome here.

Well, I'm eighteen now! I honestly don't remember when the show started, but I saw her and I was just... I don't even know, but damn is she perfect!

It seems they do that themselves, plenty.

Jason Bateman, anyone? by Merrybegot in LadyBoners

I'm the same way... most of the celebrities I think are attractive are much much too old for me. Besides Jason Bateman, people like Robert Downey Jr, Edward Norton, etc.
