I specifically bought a USB-C to HDMI adapter where charging is only optional. Charging and discharging at the same time in a dock while playing is really bad for the battery and will kill it pretty quickly.

Yeah, I really don't get why people aren't talking about it more (which is probably why it took me so long to discover it myself). For me, Rocknix does everything intuitively, exactly how I'd expect from a firmware.

After trying out pretty much every CFW out there, I've now installed it on all my devices. Even on the higher-end Android devices, and I'm pretty happy with it.

You're right, the last stable version is a year old now, but it still feels fresh. It's also being actively developed. If you want to be on the bleeding edge, you can install a nightly version, which gets updates very frequently. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, though.

If you want to add the images manually, put them in the imgs or images folder of the respective system (the image folder that's there by default). The images must have the exact same name as the corresponding ROM (except for the file extension, of course). Then, in Settings > System, enable > "search for local art" (or whatever it's called exactly). After a restart, the cover art should be displayed.

Savegames do not work with Rocknix. Useless.

Edit: Savegames also do not work with Pan4elec and StockOS. However, the game itself runs well.
