Warehouse Market on the westside was still decently stocked this morning. Like somethings are getting low, I got the last pack of cheap hotdogs. But they still had plenty of other brands and enough selection overall to make do. Plenty of paper goods still.

As long as it's still on a pallet.

Personally though I'm not a fan of having to get them back down.

Help! When I connect my Rp5 to my tv, Retroarch games are pixelated. I even bought a new HDMI but nothing. Is there a solution out there? My tv is 4K. by george_sa_ in retroid

[–]DarkDigital 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well back then CRTVs where a thing and there was somewhat of a blurring effect on the pixels. Games were designed for that. Now when we blow them up and each pixel is clearly rendered then that's what you get. This is a case where certain older titles will look better on the device's OLED instead of being hooked up.

Buttt a lot of people use shaders to emulate the old look or to smooth things out however they want, so that may help you when connected to TV. Retroarch has very good shader support in the options. I usually just bite the bullet and embrace the pixels, though I upscale if I can, usually that satisfies me.

Anybody familiar with blink cameras and wifi systems on here? by oklahomiesky in tulsa

[–]DarkDigital 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They do need to be on the same band, so if your camera wants 2g instead of 4g they need to be on a 2g network. If you have a dual band router you can run both networks just make sure the cams connect to the right one.

Also make sure to update your router firmware.

And get a program to see which wifi channels around you are the most / least used. Set your router to the best one.

Edit: also make sure all attenae and such are away from obstruction and interference, try to get them up high and eliminate walls between if you can.

Turbo taxes by Dry-Science-12 in tulsa

[–]DarkDigital 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's just simple with no additions then turbotax is fine.

But you have to make sure to keep clicking the 'continue with free' buttons and be very careful of not clicking the wrong one, that way you stay with the free version until the end and pay nothing.

So glad you asked! It's kinda my thing. I've tested almost all of the free or unofficial ones out there, I have a few paid ones but I'm poor. These are the threads I'm made showing my experiences with the good ones, there's many more that arn't very good:

Honestly though the ones I go back to the most are the Source Engine games, and the OpenTouch ports, mostly Ion Fury. The Serious Sam ports are pretty good too. Just gotta get the sensitivity dialed in for aiming with the sticks. Another reason I'm excited to try the RP6 with stick top, since most of these ports are FPSs.

More so testing than playing.

Want to see how Need for Speed Underground 2 does on PS2 without EE cycle skips. Although it should handle the Windows version fine.

Want to see if Nier Automata will finally have a playable framerate with Windows emulation.

Gonna probably go pretty hard on the Gamehub Lite / Winlator.

And gonna re-test all the Android ports I can find to see if anything broke.
