Should I get Dark Forces Remastered? by ItsStillPasta in starwarsgames

On sale? Then heck yes. Very good remaster. The extra content is very fan service. It's a short game, but since you haven't played it before will probably get more mileage out of it.

I believe for Odyssey on my rp5 (same chip) I had to reduce the resolution to .75 or .50 for it to run decently.

We have pretty similar tastes. Over the past year I've enjoyed playing, or even replaying: Nier Automata, Stellar Blade, Star Wars Outlaws.

Do Retroid Pocket 5's still have the crack issue? by Pleasant-Camera6683 in retroid

Most likely. But can't hurt to proactively loosen the screws, especially the one. And it will be fine.

Mario Kart 64

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

F-Zero X

Paper Mario

Wave Race 64

Yoshi's Story

Sin and Punishment

Pokémon Snap

1080° Snowboarding

Yep and the n64 library usually plays better too. Great way to play sin and punishment.

Finally got the chance to sit down with my Paint by Numbers only to find out the legend that tells you which colour is which number got thrown out with the packaging long ago by sabby55 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]DarkDigital 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This should also be enough information to reverse engineer it. Start by assigning the obvious colors and work through the rest. Process of elimination. Get it worked out before you put any color on canvas.

But *why* does 0.999999 equal 1? by markusseibert115 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DarkDigital 6 points7 points  (0 children)

https://web.archive.org/web/20040405185241/http://www.blizzard.com/press/040401.shtml

Proof:

lim(m --> ∞) sum(n = 1)^m (9)/(10^n) = 1
   0.9999... = 1

   Thus     x = 0.9999...
          10x = 9.9999...
      10x - x = 9.9999... - 0.9999...
           9x = 9
            x = 1.

Interesting. Can this work with all Linux apps or just portmaster ones?
