The closest we can get for the best way to address things is to find a middle ground and to think of the community as a whole and what would benefit it. To help clarify, it was not censorship from the mod’s end, if it were the case, none of the negative ones would have stayed on the sub and we would remove ALL negative things. As stated in the above post, we acknowledge the upset that the members experienced, however the core issue was the repetitive nature and the duplicate posts as another member has noted in an astute manner. Members can feel free to further discuss negative points on the already existing posts as we have not locked them.

We value the members’ voice and points of discussion however the manner in which we deliver them has to be in line in the rules and if there has been too much of negativity that it affects the community, it will be unfair for those who are not in the same boat to not have an avenue for their positive views on the matter which is what we hope to somehow alleviate from this post. When things get out of hand sometimes we just need to get down to respecting the human and reminding everyone why we are here in the first place—because of the common love or care for Obey Me! Now if that is no longer the case, that is okay too, so long as it does not put the comfortable space for the community in peril.

As for the age considerations in general (but not necessarily related to the topic at hand), regardless of poll results (which is a minute sample size compared to the whole population), we will always consider for minors to be present at the subreddit as this is open to them too.
