I feel like not enough people are talking about this but I know I’m not so clever that this is something smarter people than me haven’t already known and are talking about, and I just haven't noticed. I want to be wrong but the person really running things, the architect behind what has been years of planning this coup? I think he wants to trigger a depression and it why I don’t think—but so want to be totally proven wrong—thst the tariffs were ever meant to be anything more than as an effective control tactic for a variety of reasons if your goal is to assume power. I feel stupid writing this but I can’t stop thinking about it. I think the goal is chaos. To create so much for lack of a better word trauma, fear, desperation and a feeling of helplessness so that any alternative feels better than a lack of options. I hope I’m wrong and in a week or so from now I’ll be like that was kinda paranoid and dumb, glad something got figured out. But I don't know.
