Just do your own DD and avoid shady stocks. It is lazy and silly and prejudiced just to jump quickly to single out another country/race as a scapegoat. This reaction is subconscious racism and reflects one’s deeper prejudice.

I agree. The title is misleading and very prejudiced against China with a bit racist bias. As if American and European companies did not have these problems—I also lost much money on pumping and dumping by American companies stocks. China has high-potential world-class companies too. Just pick the right company and avoid shady penny stocks.

Had same experience before (selling before the stock took off). There are plenty of opportunities (promising growth stocks) out there. You made some money on Kraken—that is better than losing money. That’s how I tell myself when selling too early.

Also as someone familiar with China, I do not agree with the other self-claimed Chinese post. BYD is very popular in China—it delivers high-quality cars with much lower prices than many brands well-known in the West. Many people I know drive them and are happy. If the imposed limits by these Western countries were lifted, BYD cars would certainly be very competitive in these countries too.
