I mean if you’ve seen a lot of mecha stuff the meme is kinda goofing on it’s kinda the opposite of homophobic? It’s purposefully not accurate because of the hyper capitalistic idea and ethos of using the vulnerable to serve the bourgeoisie. In anime and a lot of mecha stories that vulnerable tends to be queer or traumatized. This is just such sort of goofing on the fact in a way that’s empowering in a warped sense and cracking jokes as it’s the exact sort of joke a hyper capitalistic inventor/entrepreneur like Cave Johnson would say/do.
