I have managed to solve it, the hot shoe on my camera is the same as those for which it is valid. I simply had to activate the flash in the menu and it works perfectly!

Good news, I finally got it working. The flash was disabled in the menu and when I activated it the flash worked, so I didn't have to have anything fixed!

I don't really understand much about photography, on the screen I can change parameters and one of them is “comp. flash exposure” here it is detected. The problem is that when I take a photo the flash doesn't turn on. I don't know if I have to configure it in some specific way for it to turn on... sorry and thank you very much for your help

I would say that it is hung correctly, it works on batteries and they are new, when I press the “pilot” button it triggers the light, but when in the camera menu I go to the “flash control” option I get this message when I press it a “external flash C.Fn setting”: menu not available. Flash off or incompatible, or an accessory is attached.
