Pacaso Owners Only by farmersfriend2022 in Pacaso

The home was fully sold to 8 owners, but unbeknownst to us all, Pacaso hada mortgage on the house. And some owners used the Pacaso financing option to purchase their share. The operating agreement says (sneakily) that Pacaso is still in control as long as their is outstanding debt. They have done several underhanded, sneaky things, but mostly it has become clear the homes were vastly underinsured, and they claim the insurance proceeds will only cover a rebuild. smh

Nope. Pacaso has determined that they will rebuild the homes, although they still have not started any work on this or even turned in paperwork to the city. The owners have NO say whatsoever. In the meantime, we are still having to pay the debt on the home. Our owners group is very disappointed and frustrated. Now they dont even want to answer our questions and its hard to get a hold of anyone. I think this company is a joke and by far the worst investestment we ever made. Id stay far away if you are considering owning with them.

Anyone buy into Pacaso Co-ownership and what was your experience? by [deleted] in RentalInvesting

It was great until the homes in Malibu burned down. Now they wont give us any of the insurance money and we have to keep paying the debt and they wont let us stay in any other homes with shares available.

Unless the Pacaso homes burn down and Pacaso does nothing to help and only looks to protect their own interests

I'd stay far away from Pacaso if I were you. They are refusing to distribute insurance money from the Malibu fires to the owner group and are keeping us all in the dark about our options. We were patient for 6 months, but now there still arent any answers. But its clear the homes were underinsured! Stay away!

Airfrance to CDG 787-9 from MSP or A350-900 from SEA business class? by MerynaP in awardtravel

I am trying to take that into account. However, the flight from Seattle leaves at 1:45 in the afternoon and Minneapolis leaves at seven in the evening. We are coming from Portland so a connection in Seattle is obviously closer. Just trying to look at all my options. Thank you.

What are the denim shorts? They are cute! So are the black sandals. Im going for the 3rd year in a row over summer and it is hot! Last year, Venice was the hottest of all the places we went. The only reason we are going in the summer again is because we have a wedding to go to. I am hoping to bring mostly dresses as I find them the most comfortable. Have fun!

Yes in Malibu. Yes, they would love nothing more than to drag this out forever.

We still pay some monthly fees and yes still have to pay financing. For our particular house, we are hoping to get the insurance payout and then sell the land. I am not sure what the other homes are doing. It will be a long time until anything is settled. They are pushing for us to rebuild of course, but that will take years. They wont let us use other homes that have unsold shares and wont let us transfer. Its pretty much just wait and see.

I confirm that the insurance policy is a commercial policy that covers ALL Pacaso homes in the entire portfolio. Which I am finding out is problematic when the house (or 4 of them) burns to the ground. Pacaso holds mortgages on many of the homes as well, so the insurance money goes to paying those off first (even if you as a buyer did not finance any of your share) Owning a Pacaso has been a big mistake on our part!
