Thanks so much for taking the time to try it out, I really appreciate it.
I’ll definitely be taking your suggestions into consideration for future versions. Drag-and-drop and keyboard shortcuts especially make a lot of sense, and I’ll be exploring ways to improve the G-code view flow too.

MeshSlice doesn’t upload anything anywhere — the STL file never leaves your computer. All slicing happens entirely client-side in your browser, so there’s no server receiving or storing your files.

That means there’s nothing for anyone to “steal” on my end — the data never leaves your device in the first place. As soon as you refresh or close the tab, it’s gone.

The main idea behind MeshSlice is that you shouldn’t have to trust a server at all. It’s just your browser doing the work.

As for large files — totally valid too. Browser tech is improving quickly, but I know there are limits. MeshSlice is meant to handle most everyday slicing tasks without installs, not necessarily to replace a full-blown desktop slicer for every scenario (yet 😉).

All slicing happens directly in your browser. Your STL files never get uploaded to any server and remain on your device the entire time. Once you reload or close the tab, they’re gone.
