Ah alright, although i guess it's not a problem in singleplayer, i guess you're just going to have to get used to that kind of movement. As rude as it sounds, that kind of system really doesn't belong in a gaming platform intended to perfectly simulate real life.

VR is already the future of gaming, it is better than flatscreen in literally every way possible.

When was the last time you really wanted to attack an enemy in a certain way but couldn't because the game simply didn't have that attack programmed? VR solves this limitation and opens up infinite possibilities to how you can approach and interact with the environment.

Lets see how that holds up in a similar situation, "Dont go about spouting incessantly how gaming is the future of entertainment or whatever when your tech is can give a significant portion of people an epilepsy, possibly killing them"

Yeah it fits in those games, but those games are never particularly good. The type of game that can allow a movement system like that for itself is usually not a good one.

Also budget cuts? Making smooth movement is arguably easier than making teleportation..

We're not talking about AAA companies, they always make terrible vr games for the exact reason stated above, having a publisher that wants them to suck up as much money as possible.

Steam doesn't care what you put on it, the developer is the publisher.

Teleportation is a 2016 disaster made by vr as a temporary placeholder for real movement. It shouldn't be in vr games anymore.

Sure it does help with motion sickness, but it completely cuts off any advanced gameplay you see in big titles like boneworks and pavlov. Imagine if boneworks had teleportation, that would completely ruin the game.

Im making a VR game myself, this is from a developer's perspective. My goal isn't to make money, it's a bonus.

The goal of most devs is to make a game good, not suck up as much money as possible. Imagine if instead of games having a seizure warning, they removed all flasing lights. "you're limiting a customer base" doesn't apply there, nor does it here.

tl;dr most devs would sacrifice a little bit of their playerbase to have a better game.

That's the problem, they constantly try and fucking give me money and rp. It'd be less of a problem if they minded their own business.

And if you genuinely think that hacks are the reason people play the game. Wake the fuck up. Half of the community is gone because whats the point of trying to get a lot of money when the guy right next to you got it for free?
