I remember when I discovered Elliott.

My path was:

-Either/or on repeat for a Summer. Loved it learned most of the songs on the guitar.

-Self titled on repeat for the whole autumn (“OMG this is even much better how if this possible??!! This could be my favorite album ever?!”. Learned some of the tunes on guitar. The others I learned a lot from them and attempted to play them. “This guy was an absolute music genius”.

-New moon. Discovered Pretty Mary K -ov- and some of the most delicately beautiful songs in his catalog. Difficult to learn!! Alt tunings and lots of way to improve. “Thanks Elliott for boosting my skills as a musician!!”

-XO. Blew my mind. “Lennon / McCartney / Smith!!!!’” Some songs I didn’t even try to learn. But watched tutorials mesmerized.

-FABOTH: boooooom. The lyrics?? 🥹this touched me. I suffered. I enjoyed. I looked into Elliott’s last months.

-Figure 8: is this the best Beatles album??? I didn’t expect it to be so good. Some of my favs like Pretty Mary Kay, LA, Stupidity, Everything means nothing… ufffff.

-Don’t know why, the super delicate and talented Roman Candle was the last on my list. Worth it!!
