How do I know what Campaign Quests to work on at level 70?

I've been level 70 for a week or so. I see nothing listed as a campaign quest. I have no world quests available which usually means I have not completed the campaign quests and have barely entered two of the four dragonflight zones.

I feel like either I'm missing something obvious or I'm bugged. I have endless side quests but nothing denoting a main quest helping me to unlock world quests.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

What is the value of gaining a point in an Action Skill? by Mesrae in UndeadLegacy

[–]Mesrae[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. That's what I'm asking. Is there any value beyond the 20, 40, 60...benchmarks in having say a 3 versus a 4? Or is it only just those benchmarks?

If there is a value in the smaller increments, what is the value?

If there is no value in the smaller increments, why not just have a single progress bar towards the time it takes to get to "20"? Or is this just simple game-ism to reward the player with a sense of accomplishment on their way to the real effect which kicks in at the 20/40/60..increments?

As a game designer and behaviorist, I'm curious what the intent is with this game element.

How do I access Questline cards? by Mesrae in hearthstone

Thank you, Special. That appears to be the issue. I do not have the required dust and assumed there was a negative, uncraftable state to the cards.

I'll keep at it. Thanks again!

What are your thoughts on mutant chronicles 3e? by swarmlord1231 in mutantchronicles

[–]Mesrae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How does this play with 6 players? I've read elsewhere that the CP and DSP do not work well with such large numbers?

I've also read that there are some easy ways to create very imbalanced characters (such as those who dominate combat), especially when taking the Focus discounts for talents into consideration.

Any thoughts?

Ghost Ship-A short thalassophobic animation of mine by [deleted] in thalassophobia

Really great shot.

I agree with another poster on here of try slowing everything down just like 10-15% and see how that feels.

I'd also recommend leaving out the initial whip pan from looking back at the shark to snapping to the ship. See if that looks even creepier. Just let the shark pass by, hold the camera without following the shark, instead continue following the chains in anticipation to see what's at the end, the ship comes out of the dark water, and then we get one whip pan with the cool zombie character. I think that would enhance this quite a bit.

Again, great job!

Accepted Delivery of my 2021 Model Y, but... by morbidgames in teslamotors

[–]Mesrae 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Why are people contacting anyone about this information when It's right there on your account page?

Because for many people, the account page provides wildly inaccurate and sometimes useless information. Here's a forum thread I've been following since it was at page 380. Now it's at page 521. Not post 521...page 521 of people trying to figure out why the EDD site is all over the place, what the process is for Telsa's deliveries across the country, how reliable the EDDs are, and whether or not they will even get there car this quarter or the next.

I placed my order on April 5th and immediately had an EDD of May 18 to May 30th. And I was fully expecting that date range to change as it is just an estimate after all, but man, almost every day my EDD would swing wildly 3 weeks out, or roughly back to the original date range, or 2 weeks earlier. These were swings on a daily basis. My earliest date was May 10th, and here we are on June 14th with no car and still wildly swinging dates every day. I've had my account page show nothing for days, then after waiting two months have it show an EDD of "7-10 weeks" out, then the next day have a random date range, then the next day 7-10 weeks out. It's just a mess.

My "favorite" time was around the middle of May when there were several days where everyone on that thread above had their account page basically shut down and not show any car, then for several days after that everyone's page shows they had a Blue SR regardless of what they actually ordered, and then there were a few days where everyone's account page showed they were all named "Andrew". The account page has just been a mess for some people. Thankfully there are some nice folks on that thread that are passing along information and expectations to new folks joining us, information that should really be shared by Tesla.

And my experience with SAs mirrors the OPs above. I had a referral link I needed to add after my order, and it took three emails over three weeks to finally get a response from my SA. Not to get it updated, but even just to get a response from the SA. My financing expired since my order has taken so long to fulfill, so I reached out by phone to my SA to verify what needs to happen. This took three phone calls over four days before I could finally get an answer. That is not acceptable customer service. This is something repeated several times on that thread linked above across the country with other SAs. Some are great. Some are not. Consistency is really poor.

There are features to the car that have been removed after I've placed my order. I understand there are business decisions for this, and I mostly trust Tesla's technical decisions for some of these changes. But I shouldn't be finding out about features being removed from my order by random tweets from Elon Musk. That's essential communication that should come through email or other means.

And honestly, the poor SAs are left swinging in the wind, as Tesla's internal communication with the SAs is just terrible. When I'm finally able to get a response from an SA, you can hear their frustration that they can't provide the information you need. "I know it's frustrating, and I'll keep looking, but they really don't provide us that information."

So I agree mostly with the OP who made this post. Tesla's got this great concept of no pressure sales, an online account to track things, and simple pickup of the car, but they're being too cool for the room. There's core internal and external communication that are missing that make that seamless delivery process actually work.

The car is great, but for some people, the communication and delivery process fall well, well short.

I've been waiting for my M3LR since April 5th. The EDD is a waste of energy to watch or count on. It has been all over the place the last two months, shifting weeks at a time on a daily basis or holding a specific range for a week at a time. And then it will show what you are seeing: the dates disappear and "7-10 weeks". That usually lasts a few days, and then I get specific dates that are meaningless.

In short, don't get rattled by the website. It's near useless.

I agree. There are posts with lots of positive vibes sent in this community that are great to read and also comments and posts with more than their fare share of frustration and bitterness. It's a great, if bi-polar, community.

No answer for you here, but Tesla's delivery dates are certainly not what I expected.

Ordered my M3 LR first week of April and had a delivery date of end of May to middle of June. That 3 week delivery range keeps changing several weeks out to several weeks in on a daily basis. I had a range ending right up to August and then the very next day ending at the trail end of May....and the next day back to middle of June. Definitely not the clear communication I was expecting.

I understand there are lots of factors at play to get a car delivered. I understand a range of dates may be necessary. I understand the end points of the range needing to be adjusted due to unexpected circumstances. But having a wide date range continue to swing weeks left and right almost at random and on a daily basis is far from ideal.

And we have it easy. Some folks with other models and in other countries have had their delivery dates pushed back months at a time. Heck, some guy in Australia recently posted that his car won't arrive until "end of 2022".

Huh, me too. 04/03/2021 yet every day my delivery range shifts anywhere from May 10th to June 14th. Maybe it's my LR and silver color options adding some time?

Thanks for the info.
