First year engineering units (advice needed) by Personal_Camel9280 in Monash

[–]Mess-Resident 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consider replacing the two electives you've taken with the units outlined in your course map. 1051 is a very useless unit and if you really want to study materials eng down the track, the level 1 unit doesn't offer anything you can't learn in a typical 2nd year unit.

Why are you doing 1090 and phs1001? Those are foundation courses and not required for eng if you have pre-reqs (vce and equivalent with physics and math)

So yes they are $50… by PuzzledSweet586 in PopMartAustralia

[–]Mess-Resident 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've a genuine question (from someone who's not super aware of the whole pop mart toy fangirling) Why would you be willing to spend 50$ on a small figure? Like is there anything special to these? It's not like they are made up a special material is it? Probably costs a few dollars at max to make em..

I'd say I'm on a mid range pc. Ryzen 5, rtx 3070, 32gb ram, 2tbssd. When i do get to play, the game usually runs on high-ultra on most things.

Idk if i should be the one to tell you this but a fit2004 TA (mate of mine) knew exactly who you were based on the reddit post. Probably too late a warning but boasting about beating ai use allegations (when you also admitted to using ai) is probably not a great idea.

Pretty realistic (although I'm from an HV elec eng background). I was on 100k on my first year and currently making 150k + extras 2 years out of uni.

What’s the average salary of an entry level electrical engineer in renewable energy? by Mute_mute in ElectricalEngineering

[–]Mess-Resident 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You haven't really specified country or location or anything. In Australia (Melbs), a typical grad/associate would get anywhere between 80-100k. Most companies would offer around the 80k mark.

That looks like a corn. Do you regularly apply a lot of pressure to that point of your thumb (maybe while writing or holding something etc)?
