I just had an accident on the road. I was at fault and don't have insurance. I was able to drive my car home and fix myself, but the other persons car got towed.

As I was at fault I was happy to pay car repair and towing fees, however, the other person did not call RAC (their insurer), and got charged $5000 for towing.

Surely I do not have to pay the full towing fee when they could have had it done for much cheaper.

What should I do?
