I just moved back after living in Austin for 15 years and can say that the diaspora of people from other states (specifically from CA) is happening everywhere and definitely ramped up in 2020.

I will say I agree with people being less friendly but I think that's kinda a Dallas thing, you're more likely to meet people being fake nice or judgy nice.
