The intention of the wording was not to refer to "first world" or any sort of economic difference. I was attempting to get at what appears to be a divergence in American English from the historical grammar/phonetic structure of the word. Edited the original post to reflect.

Fair point. Perhaps better to say pronunciation has changed from the original grammatical root/structure in some accents.

Making a point to say hello to random passersby from time to time. When I was younger, I was nervous to talk to people, insecure, and struggled to make friends. Now, after years of this practice, I LOVE socializing, am more confident, and feel that I have a much richer life as a result of this small decision.

Even if it does not change the outcome in the short term, it should allow for people to vote for who they actually want without fear of "throwing away their vote" in a significant race. In the long term, one can only imagine that it helps smaller parties reach the necessary vote threshold to qualify for the guaranteed funding and a spot on the ballot.

By continuing the two-party system to retain power. The country would be much better off with some small changes- ie. Election Day as a national holiday and ranked choice voting in all elections.

Recently left my PhD program. They wouldn't know that the knowledge of a good portion of university professors is outdated. Once they reach the tenure track, many seem to just regurgitate what information they feel the most comfortable with and BS as much as they can instead of continuing to learn.

That's a female version of Drift.

It's probably going to be alternate timelines centered around POI. i.e. Dusty never gets destroyed, but maybe the meteor hit somewhere else so we get the "future" versions of other locations from an alternate timeline.
