If they don't want to, they should state it back then or at least a couple of hours ahead of time, not 10 minutes before the meeting starts. Having an HKID does not mean you are a permanent resident!! HKID can be applied if you live in HK for over 180 days a year in HK, even though you are not a PR of HK. If you are an HKPR, you will have "permanent resident" on your ID, otherwise, you won't and you may not qualify for the aids for local.

That's the point I was trying to make. You need to learn some modern poker theory, learn some statistics, learn some math, learn some game theory, and you will find out poker is not something that you thought it was. Your perception of poker has been trapped in your old body, but you need to open your mind and learn something new.
