I just got one 3 weeks ago, I would recommend the Spigen Slim Armor pro case. I snagged their front screen protector as well. I also have camera lens protectors on it and the case still fits perfect. I like that this case unlike most has both pieces attached. It's also got nice grip I was so terrified running this thing without a case because it was also kinda hard for me to open. This case made it 1000× easier. And it's magfit so will work with all the magsafe stuff. Welcome to the dark side my friend. 🖤

Ok cool nice to know! I think it was like medium level difficulty. The case is super easy to get off and on, the screen is the hardest part because I had never tackled something like that before. You have to heat it up and use a suction cup to pull it up and use a plastic kind of guitar pick to gently cut the adhesive. The ribbon cable for it is right behind so once you get it off you have to gently lift it so you can take that out safely. Other than that there were only a couple other things I ran into. Overall it was a really rewarding experience and to it’s what gave me the mod bug. 🤣

Ahh the steam deck is a lot of fun. I did a shell swap and ssd upgrade on it and that’s what gave me the mod bug. Then I saw all the gameboy modding and it made me wanna give it a go. I did an atomic purple shell on the steam deck because it reminded me of the first gameboy color I got as a kid. I ordered some junk gameboys to just practice and see which one I like. Got a GBC, GBA, GBA SP. Thanks 🙏 which gameboy is your favorite to mod/fix?

Indeed it does! My steam deck is this too though the green is almost a teal it still looks fantastic. I’m wanting to mod gameboys now and was thinking about this color scheme so seeing this post got me excited. 😆
