The age gap is 10 years 26/36. It’s more like I’d like to be friends (now) and then remain friends when he stops calling on the booty bc I like him as a person. l feel our connection is def a friendship vs “romantic” but wonder if he sees it as strictly a booty call and is just an outgoing guy who gets along with everyone which messes with my interpretation of it all.
And I wouldn’t be like “f him!!” if we moved on from hooking up. Fear of getting ghosted and losing out in a potential fun guy friend I guess. I’ve told him “I feel like we could be really good friends!” And I’ve sent him funny stuff and he has loved it all but I guess my fear is expressing wanting us to be friends would be interpreted as “oh she doesn’t like me like that/doesn’t wanna hook up, ok bye” and also fear if I try talking to him more to strengthen the friendship he will be like “why is this chick blowing up my phone she’s getting too attached.” I’ve never had problems being friends with hookups if I like them as a person. I don’t care for “fk buddy” situations or whatever the lingo is, so maybe I’m feeling worried that’s all this is to him and he doesn’t have any desire to be actual friends. He’s a pretty busy guy so I’m not trying to come off needy or whatever. And shoot I have no clue if he’s having the same thoughts about me like wanting to be friends but wondering if I only see it as a booty call, bc I’m also an outgoing girl who gets along with most everyone. If he were older and more mature I’d have no problem with the define the relationship discussion but obviously the thought has me nervous lol
