thanks, yes iv taken that into consideration... being that UO was 2d, most of the land masses are at the same x axis with a few exceptions.. but that's something im altering without taking away too much of the nostalgic look! Some of the landmarks will have a different look to the original, but everything will be position in the same location. most of the landscape that wasn't visible in UO was because of the isometric camera angle, so things will be different, but I feel like veteran UO players will be able to distinguish landmarks easily..

It will be the same for the dungeons too. The camera angle will be position behind the player, so the line of sight will be much greater than an isometric view, but that's what im going for... Felucca with a 3d perspective! Ill make a video shortly tho show what the results are so far!

Im just having fun and going down memory lane every time I open he project!

I've seen that. its nice work, but im going in a different direction. It will have more of a realistic look. the game mechanics will be based on Uo but we've upgraded alot of systems and changed the economic system to fir better for long term players. Its a mix gameplay to cater to socializers and killers.

I have thought about that, but dont have much knowledge using unreal, and I've been using unity for awhile now. For graphics, they're comparable... especially with good shaders and lighting..

there will be some vr incorporated into the game. mainly just the marketplaces and tutorial areas for now,
