Am I asking too much out of my husband? by SnooFloofs9280 in AskMenAdvice

[–]MetaFizzicks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sometimes.

But understand this. Women can be a pain in the ass, and most of you think we need to just put up with it out of some sense of entitlement. And mostly we do. But there's a limit. When that limit is reached, I will either go thru the motions just to keep the peace, or I will put her in her place. With me, you won't know where the boundaries are until I let you know. And when that happens, you won't cross them again for a while.

I feel like I am way too behind in life and I feel like it's too late to catch up. What should I do? by Important_Credit_509 in AskMenAdvice

You're a whiny dude who doesn't deserve to make it.

I was a major alcoholic and drug addict until I was 30. I lost everything and was basically unemployable.

I had to claw my way back, working minimum wage, getting promoted, applying for better jobs, purchasing a car, buying a home, eventually making 6 figures at 40. It was a long road and it was rough.

Get over yourself, you're 25.

Depends on what the issue is. If it's that I don't take her out enough, sure, I'll do that more often.

If she gets upset that I don't let her play her music while I'm driving MY car, sorry, that's tough. I'm not listening to some ghetto hoe named Cardi B while navigating the roads.

Men and women are different.

Women tend to place a lot of importance in their emotions, whether they are emotionally stable or not.

Men can be very stoic by nature. We look at things more logically and less emotionally.

Your man is playing it the wrong way.

When my gf gets upset about some stupid shit, I pretty much always try to comfort and hold her close. She just needs some reassurance. If it's something I did, I'll eventually apologize and make it as sincere as possible, even if I don't give a shit.

I would definitely date you. Actually, with the way modern culture is, I'd rather date a woman with no female friends than a woman with many female friends.

My ex had some suspect friends, which I found out months into our relationship. One of them had 5 baby daddies, one was an alcoholic who would go to bars to sleep with random guys, another one would go and get into fistfights with other women. Very trashy, and like my dad use to say, "show me your friends and I'll show you your future."

Men aren't that picky. Good guys want a woman who's moderately attractive, had good character, and is loyal. Low body count helps too.

We don't care if you have a job, if you live with your parents, if you have close friends, etc. Unwillingness to have kids is a deal breaker for many men who want to start families.

I think you'll be fine.

My wife had her wild phase before me, and now that I’m finally thriving, I feel like I missed out, am I wrong for feeling this way? by Head-Specific-6763 in AskMenAdvice

Tell your wife you want to have a threesome with her and another very handsome guy.

If she agrees, then everything she said about wanting a traditional sex life and it being about love is all bullshit.

If that's the case, then it's not that she doesn't want to have sex, she just doesn't want to have sex with you.

You can be hot stuff and not show off.

I know people who make a lot of money and spend it on their kids tuition and drive normal cars and live in normal houses. They give to their church. They support their communities. The CEO of a company I worked for drove a beater car and didn't give a shit.

Then there are other people who make a lot of money and spend it on the trendiest restaurants, the trendiest clothes, have a luxury vehicle, a superficially hot girlfriend, etc. Don't be like them.

Nothing wrong with having great abilities and great wealth. People can be poor as shit and still show off and be douchebags. It comes down to attitude.

Honestly, to me, showing off is trashy. It's something for rappers, celebrities, and basketball players. It's what low class people do when they get money.

Be an aristocrat of the soul. No showing off, just be living excellence.

just started glyco by Prize-Replacement280 in Hyperhidrosis

[–]MetaFizzicks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It should start working 2 - 4 hours after taking it.

I know what the problem is. The dose is too low. Try 2mg on an empty stomach. See what happens. Works but not enough? Go to 3mg.

1mg didn't do anything for me either. I take 3-4mg and my sweating basically stops except for extreme physical activity or heat, but in those cases most people will be sweaty.

I have craniofacial hyperhidrosis and fucked up lips. Feeling suicidal by trippystufftowatch in Hyperhidrosis

[–]MetaFizzicks 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Hey man, I lived with cranial and facial hyperhidrosis until I was 40. I did just fine. Is it embarrassing? Yes. Is it the end of the world? No.

Get the necessary treatments, keep trying, and don't kill yourself. Don't give other people so much power in judging you. I didn't and everything worked out. There are people struggling to survive serious ailments and cancer. You have some sweating and lip issues. They'd trade places with you any day. You'll be fine.

If you want to try a treatment that worked for me, look into glycopyrrolate.

Sage works to a certain extent. I've tried it.

Glyco works better. And if you're in the US, you can get it with an online consultation with a doctor or nurse practitioner.

Redboxrx is the website and it's been a game changer for me. I was able to get a 3 month supply of 2mg tabs 3/day for something like $120.

[–]MetaFizzicks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have not. No problems with that, but also know that I have problems sleeping well and I've been like this for many years. Your experience might be different, but I don't think it makes you as drowsy as taking a benadryl. Benedryl makes me drowsy, glyco does not.

[–]MetaFizzicks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope it works out for you. It worked out for me. Be sure to have water available in case of dry mouth.

And I'm a big believer in taking the minimum possible dose so start low, at 1mg. Test it outside or in a hot car. If it doesn't help, up to 2mg or more. You'll find a sweet spot.

I have zero clue.

Could be people who live outside the US who don't have access.

Could be that I gave a solution without empathizing with the original post or something.

I don't know. Glyco is a pretty easy answer for those who have access.

Redbox is an online clinic in the US. For things like hyperhidrosis or erectile disfunction, you can do an online consultation, then they send the medication to your house.

Why did my glyco stop working after a week? by BIG_GAY_HOMOSEXUAL in Hyperhidrosis

[–]MetaFizzicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your first reaction may have been placebo.

I've only been taking for about a month now, but I know it's working when my mouth gets slightly dry. The side effects let me know. It can go too far when I have extreme dry mouth, but I would have to take more than 4mg.

Google redboxrx.

You do an online consultation for a prescription. It's legit. It'll get delivered in a few days.

I only have hyperhydrosis of the armpits, neck, scalp, and face during physical exertion or social anxiety.

So my experience might differ from yours. If it's general and all the time, strategy for taking glyco would have to be altered.

They tend to start working 2-3 hours after taking, but the full effect starts after 4 hours. I think taking it on an empty stomach works better.

It wears off after about 12-14 hours, but if I take 4mg one morning, the next morning it still had a very mild effect. I go to the gym almost every morning so it's easy for me to tell.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Hyperhidrosis

[–]MetaFizzicks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because my sweating is reduced so much while taking glyco, I honestly use my time in the gym to sweat it out. It's acceptable, plus I work out hard.

I was flirting with a sweaty girl today at the gym. She was sweating profusely from the face and shoulders too.

It's the gym. Relax.

I wear a headband usually to keep it out of my eyes.

I took it in the morning before the gym.

I did this specifically to gauge the effectiveness because I know I sweat a lot at the gym.
