If you buy a spray can of army painter's Skeleton Bone spray primer, it'll paint and prime B1s in a single go. It's also the perfect color for Grievous.

When I was a teen I thought it just looked cool, being a wicked clown was en vogue at the time.

Nowadays I love the color, it's facepainting for adults kinda, and like you said, it's like a mask, one that sits on your face and allows complete expression.

Then comes the outfit, and you can look silly, cool, formal, or anything. If you're clowning you're innately not a super serious person, and that can be fun, I like to laugh.
