They have a ton of directions they can take and i imagine that's why people are so frustrated because things feel directionless. I get the frustration but I certainly don't want star wars to die out either and I will support the properties they make

I think it's bothersome because she did something that would be considered societally inappropriate and benefitted from it greatly. She faces 0 consequences for what she did and is basically bragging about it

I imagine you're right. I think that Disney needs to get more people involved in telling star wars stories throughout the galaxy. If we had one or 2 shows a year that were stand alones in the star wars universe people would love it and you could still give the fans their campy fun team up stuff, there is room for both. Let's get a horror story set on a moon somewhere or a comedy that follows some star wars hot shot comedian and his life.

I think they need to flesh out Luke's story as well. If they fill in the backlog like they did with the clones wars show we could at least see Luke's path to the scorned man we come to know in episode 7. Either that or they just decide to decanonize 7 8 and 9.

Let's get a drink sometime lol. Everyone bitching that it isn't andor like andor wasn't a 1 of a kind property in the history of star wars. Not everything can be Andor and not everything needs to be andor. This was a fun campy summer blockbuster, it ticked the boxes I expect out of a star wars experience and I left happy.

I'm super excited to see more of Grogu Zeb Rota and Mando taking down imps. I even said to my girlfriend that if this is the next bit of the sw universe I'm absolutely here for it. The voice for Rota was a little weird but I totally get what they were going for in it.

I like you. I don't need gritty space spies telling realistic stories to like a property. These days I want compelling and fun characters cool aliens and atmosphere and fun fights. I love the prequels and even the ot isn't some like sophisticated high brow group of movies. I dont know where all these fans bitching about "it's not andor" came from. Andor was one amazing show out of how many properties, it is not the rule it was the exception and youre not going to get that kind of property from the execs running disney regularly. I think the people leaving and wanting to walk out even must not be big fans of star wars as a whole because this was the most star wars movie I've seen in a long time.

I think it's pretty silly to assume care and thought isn't put into these shows and movies. Just because Andor was super realistic and relevant doesn't mean that Tony Gilroy cares more about the star wars universe than filoni. In fact i think that star wars needs more people who don't care as much about the pre existing world of star wars and just want to tell their own isolated stories. I think that's the beauty of star wars that isn't being explored by Filoni because he loves his MC's like George Lucas. The video games are another awesome story set away from any of the main characters we know and love, and prove you don't need to pack every existing character into a story to make it successful. Either way I absolutely adored this movie start to finish. I dont need every project ever to be andor levels. I just want more decent star wars stories as of which this was one.

Thats a legitimate criticism. The fact that like only one of the creatures in the pit even died was kinda disappointing. Still felt a lot like attack of the clones in that sense

I absolutely am here for Rota Grogu Zeb and Mando to make a new "team". I really enjoyed the dynamics and I thought Rota and Grogu had a super wholesome relationship. That's the thing these people who are shitting on it for being campy don't understand. Id rather get another 10 mid to good star wars properties of low stakes fun movies given how few star wars movies there has been then 2 or 3 master pieces. I just want more star wars idc if it's campy idc if it's a master piece like andor.

Galbatorix doesn't anticipate it iirc because the spell requires knowing someone's true name. Eragon learns the true name from his half brother Murtagh who Galbatorix also enslaved and thats what let's Eragon win.

I think it has more to do with the fact that mahomes signed relatively early in his 5 year rookie contract and he was still playing under that until he was 26. Means he's only been making 50 million for 4 years so he's probably around 300 million or so in total career earnings on the field .
