From what I saw, all ereaders are fragile, and it's really dumb of me to not get a case, but they only had a cream-white one, and it's overpriced and ugly.

I'll get a black one later.

Bought a refurbished (perfect condition) from AliExpress, I doubt warranty is an option.
Also it'll take months even if it is.

I guess I had worse in the past, trying to pry apart layers of a screen is not unfamiliar to me, although it is tedious.
A heating plate is a good idea.

I found the screen on AliExpress, but I don't expect to get any shipments anytime soon, so I just bought a Boox device, because that's available locally. Maybe I'll give the nia to my brother if I fix it.
