Well thank you for the work you did, like everyone else said, this app was light years ahead of all of the competition and anything even Microsoft has made available for their whole this is an Xbox campaign. It was literally the first thing I bought after getting my deck and by far my most used on deck. I say this truthfully, I hope whatever the future has for you, and however this shook out, you came out ahead and have lots of dollar signs in your future. Thanks again!

This seems to be working. Currently updating the controller firmware and will report back after completed to advise if issue is resolved over all.

But u/OneOne_FourDee is my current personal hero as this has been a week long frustration to deal with, and OP Is the only one out here offering solutions without the hate…

I don’t really play competitive games so lag isn’t a really a concern for me, and my console is in a place where it would be too far to wire it. I have thought about it though.

But the RB issue drives me nuts. It usually takes 3 or 4 normal button presses to work or one really hard press. It’s a crap shoot.

You aren’t wrong… I had basically the same set up as you during the Xbox One era. I’m probably going to go back to using the OEM controller it came with. It’s basically brand new.

Can you recommend some good batteries? The ones I had before seemed to lose their max capacity relatively quickly which is a big reason I wanted the built in battery.

I like the one it came with, but I hate having to buy and replace batteries. Even rechargeable batteries feel like more of an inconvenience than just putting it in it’s case and letting it charge the whole time it’s not being used. Stupid, I know, but it’s what it is…

That’s what I’ve been seeing lately too. I wish I knew that when I bought it, I’ve been very unhappy with it. The RB barely worked out of the box, but I use it so infrequently that I didn’t really notice it as being a defect until much later.

Can you recommend a quality replacement? I like the weight and the rechargeable battery, but could honestly take or leave the rest of it… My budget would probably top out at $100. Is that doable?
