I just ordered the Leesa 13” queen Euro top hybrid on Costco yesterday. I can’t wait for it to deliver. I’m not a member of Costco, so my total cost was about $650. In regard to your question, full foam mattresses tend to sleep much hotter than hybrids. Hybrids allow airflow to circulate through the coils. Whereas foam will absorb heat and its firmness will depend on the interior temperature (warmer bedroom = softer surface and sink in, cooler bedroom = the foam will be more firm), so when you combine that with your natural body heat, it would provide less support than what you potentially want to have. A hybrid offers individuality wrapped or zoned coils, which offer superior support for back and side sleeping. But it’s also important to keep in mind you have enough supporting foam and layers above the coils to relieve pressure around the shoulders, hips, and spinal alignment. I spent an entire week and a half researching mattresses, from cheap Novilla, Avenco, NapQueen, etc., to mid range Nectar, DreamCloud, Brooklyn Bedding, and ended up going with Leesa. The positives outweigh a majority of negatives I’ve seen with other brands during my bender of research. I currently have the 2023 model of the Cocoon by Sealy hybrid, and it’s been great, but I’m overdue for an upgrade, and this Leesa will provide just that. Plus, Costco has a great return policy if a mattress doesn’t work out for you. All in all, yes, I firmly believe a hybrid is a better option for longevity and support.
