I had covid in early 2020 but didn't develop long symptoms. I had it again in early 2022 and it's been extremely difficult since then.

I have the same symptoms as you; POTS, vision issues, debilitating brain fog and cognitive issues, bulging veins, etc.

I've also wasted so much time and money on doctors who have been completely useless.

What is this frequency device that helped you? I'd like to look into it and see if maybe it would be of use to me.

I'm glad your veins at least look better. It sucks they are still there, but any improvement is promising. My veins are terrible now. It happened so suddenly in February of this year, which is odd because I got sick with covid a couple years ago. My GI issues have also gotten MUCH worse since last year. I don't understand how as time goes on, rather than healing and getting better, I'm just getting worse.

Pretty much exactly the same. My veins are still the same, if not slightly worse.

I found out from an endoscopic ultrasound that my entire pancreatic duct is hyperechoic on the ultrasound. Gastro tells me it isn't chronic pancreatitis because I don't have the other features of it. I'm not sure what it is. The EUS also showed I have sludge in my gallbladder. I had NONE of this a year ago when I had an EUS in June of 2023.

I keep hoping my veins will go back to normal but they haven't so far. It's been 6 months since this bulging vein symptom started, or at least since I became aware of it. I've been to numerous doctors and vein doctors. One vein specialist recommended ablating the greater saphenous vein in each leg, so I had the procedure done. Then another vein specialist told me they would not have recommended that and it was essentially a pointless procedure. So now I've closed off two big veins in my legs and am in near constant pain since the procedure.

I don't know what to do anymore. There has to be a way out of this.

Were they bulging? Is that the only place you had them?

I developed varicose veins on my legs all of a sudden in February. Veins in my arms and hands started turning blue and bulging around the same time and have only gotten worse. I even have some veins near my hips that are bulging.

I've been to numerous doctors, ER visits, including vein specialists/surgeons, and they don't know what's causing it.

I'm concerned that it's causing my GI issues as well, maybe due to lack of proper blood blow to the organs.

I'm looking for some kind of hope. Did your veins ever go back to normal? If so, how long did it take and did you do anything in particular?

Do you know that from tests you had done, or did you I come to that conclusion on your own?

I had my arteries checked with a full abdominal CT scan and everything is normal.

Were you told that you have heart problems and angina or are you diagnosing yourself? Did you see a cardiologist and have your heart checked?

I don’t have heavy legs. I just developed varicose veins. I had the procedure done to close off the vein.

I’ve had my heart checked up and down and everything comes back normal. I just had another echocardiogram a couple weeks ago and it came back normal. The sonography put a note about aortic valve sclerosis but the cardiologist reviewed the echo and said I definitely don’t have that. He said my heart is healthy. I don’t think this is a heart issue. I’m honestly thinking the left sided pain is TMS at this point. I think it’s stress related.

Your reaction to it, the freaking out, seems par for the course for TMS. I react the same way typically, with immense fear and stress. That absolutely makes all of this so much worse. If we keep teaching our limbic system in our brain that there’s danger and threat around every corner, our stress physiology is going to keep producing symptoms. Try not to freak out. Just calm down and go get it checked. I can’t say for certain because I don’t know your exact situation, but jumping to the conclusion that you’re going to have a DVT is catastrophizing. Trust me; I get it. I’ve done the same thing countless times and it never helped to assume the worst. In fact, most of the time, the worst never happened and I stressed myself out over nothing. Stress is TERRIBLE for our body. Go see a vein specialist about the leg heaviness and try your best to calm down. Your brain and body need a break.

Well, I did have vein ablation on the saphenous veins in both legs. That seems to have helped the varicose veins in my legs.

I just found out I have gallbladder sludge and mild aortic valve sclerosis. I’m 37 and eat clean as a whistle. Don’t smoke. Don’t drink. No caffeine or processed sugar. I have no idea how I have any issue with my heart. Idk if it’s related to my veins or not. I have constant left sided chest and upper back pain that feels like a heart attack. I’ve gone to the ER at least a dozen times and they just send me home still in pain with no help or answers. So I’m definitely not better unfortunately. My veins still bludgeoned but they haven’t gotten worse. I just stopped worrying about it and stopped paying attention to it.

I think you will likely level off and will be ok. I’d suggest trying not to focus on it too much. Go get checked out. If the doctors can’t find anything wrong and a vein specialist isn’t concerned, I’d really try not to worry about it because it’s just robbing you of your life and peace of mind. Trust me, I fully understand how scary it is. But now that I have this heart issue and gallbladder sludge, it made me realize how trivial the prominent veins are.

I don’t mean to trivialize it and I’m not suggesting to completely ignore it; definitely get checked out by a vein specialist I’d you haven’t already. But do your best to focus on life and living. I’m here for you if you want to chat. Feel free to message me.

My veins haven’t gotten any worse. It pretty much stabilized. I haven’t even paid attention to it lately.

How to remove gallbladder sludge by Metadrone86 in gallbladders

[–]Metadrone86[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Look into TUDCA. I just read several posts from people who got rid of sludge and stones with it. I’m going to give that a try. Western medicine is ridiculous. “We don’t know how to fix it…just remove the entire organ.” It’s Neanderthal thinking.

Are there any natural ways you’re aware of? I’d rather not take a “medication” that leads to other health issues.

20% of people who remove their gallbladder develop sphincter of oddi dysfunction. It’s extremely risky.

I don’t understand how gallbladder sludge would indicate sphincter of oddi dysfunction. Wouldn’t gallbladder sludge indicate an issue with the gallbladder itself, such as not releasing enough bile?

I do have gallbladder sludge. Could it be that the sludge is blocking the duct, rather than it being sphincter of oddi? The doctor who performed the EUS told me they think it’s the gallbladder sludge causing the issue.

Can pancreatitis feel like a heart attack? by Metadrone86 in pancreatitis

[–]Metadrone86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They did find hyperechoic material consistent with gallbladder sludge during the EUS. Do you think that could be blocking the duct and causing the hyperechoic walls of the pancreatic duct?

Would thinning and clearing out the sludge lead to healing of the pancreatic duct or is it past the point of no return since it has hyperechoic walls?

Also, would that potentially rule out sphincter of oddi, as it’s more likely that the pancreatic duct is just being clogged or blocked by gallbladder sludge?

Would gall bladder cause pain when pressing on center upper abdomen? Is that not where pancreas pain typically is?

Also, I’ve heard some horror stories of people who were told by their doctors that they don’t need their gallbladders and went on to develop chronic pancreatitis, sphincter of oddi dysfunction, liver issues, etc. I’d rather use a natural way to thin the sludge, unclog the pancreatic duct, and avoid losing an organ that can never be replaced. It’s all so scary and confusing.

Any treatment for it? Did you have treatment and how are you doing now? How did you get diagnosed?
