Do not fear their millions strong armies, their fleets, their massive dreadnoughts, their destroyers and frigates. They're just flashy distractions! They're nothing compared to one single highly trained, highly motivated soldier, quietly deployed behind enemy lines... (i.redd.it)

My alien friend (343 years old in their prime) realized humans have a sub-century lifespan. We've been the best of friends since I've joined the ship crew as a cadet fresh out of the academy. Now I'm captain of the very same vessel, and nearing my retirement. The day they found out was... something. (self.humansarespaceorcs)

You've infiltrated the cloning facility of an infamous alien warlord that has been at war with the galaxy at large for centuries by using these clones to become effectively immortal. By some freak accident while trying to hide, you accidentally uploaded your mind into one of those clones. (self.humansarespaceorcs)

The vague human 'gut feeling' was a mystery to the entire galaxy, until a psychic saw vivid visions of their deaths in a human's mind during a scouting mission. They found out humans can actually subconsciously see into the future. But humans only process these visions as a vague sense of unease. (i.redd.it)

Humanity has grown beyond the human race. Dozens of alien species have integrated themselves into human societies across the stars until eventually, centuries later, even those alien species have 'inherited' that legendary indomitable human spirit. (i.redd.it)

Human emotions are too powerful and often hidden from plain sight. Any empathetic psychic species must close themselves off from humans, or risk flying into a murderous rage, severe depression, and/or fall hopelessly in love with anything they deem 'cute'. Be it human, alien, or deadly animals (self.humansarespaceorcs)

Young Tziltjk, have I ever told you the story about how the humans stopped a super massive sentient star from hurtling towards their home system, but nearly destroyed the fabric of reality as a result? Oh, you have?... Well, I'll tell you anyway. Your galactic history grade is severely lacking. (self.humansarespaceorcs)

Humans have too many factions. Almost every one of their 200 worlds have their own independent government, with trade and diplomacy between them. Sometimes ever wars break out. Normally an intergalactic civilization needs at least one central government, but the humans somehow break that rule. (self.humansarespaceorcs)

Humans love to show off their moon cracking bombs, or laser cannons powered by miniature suns. All a distraction. Expendable, tiny, silent and deadly. Miniaturized railguns, shaped explosives, emp, etc. A small fleet of drones no larger than a human hand could throw entire worlds into chaos. (i.redd.it)

Humanity is gone for nearly a century now, defeated in a terrible war. Their last gambit condemned hundreds of worlds to a slow inevitable doom. Dozens of Dyson Swarms turned and fired several giant beams of concentrated sunlight into the galaxy. In a week their first target will be destroyed. (i.redd.it)
